The Maxx Traditional by Alec Bradley Corona presented in a more standard, 5½ x 43 shape. With a well-balanced feel in the hand, the smoke is smooth and creamy, dominated by rich, earthy-woody overtones laced with sweet tobacco flavors and a note of coffee bean on the finish. A must-try cigar!

These cigars were badly made. They are wet and green and as limp as a hand rolled cigarette.

I don't understand what mike from north carolina was smoking. I did not want to pay the price for a more exspensive cigar so the shop I went to recomended the maxx traditional and I bought five. Not only would I recomend this cigar over a very expensive cigar. I plan on buying many a box from famous smoke shop. I have only one store in the sacramento area that sells the traditional corona. Iplan on buying boxes from this cigar shop. I urge everyone who reads this to try this cigar asap. mabe mike got a bad cigar. reguards Ken from carmichael.

Very impressive. Have smoked virtually only Havanas for decades and am discovering the glories of Nicaraguan leaf in the hands of masters like Alec Bradley. While the burn is erratic (like many of the Cubans) it's a small price to pay for this so rich blend. Decadent!

This is a full strength cigar (the traditional MAXX Torpedo), not my every day fare but it does have a place in my humidor. There is a lot going on flavor-wise when all those different tobaccos mix and meld together. Someone, somewhere said you need a really stiff drink like a gnarly old scotch to stand up to a MAXX. I think they are right. And another thing. Someone else said in their review that their MAXX was soggy and limp. Why would anyone want to smoke a wet cigar? Sometimes you get a box so fresh they haven't had time to recover from the rolling process. If they're a little damp and not ready to smoke, do yourself a favor and give 'em a couple of weeks rest before you fire one up.

The construction is very nice. Burn is even. The draw is firm but not as firm as most CAO's. The smell is great. I've received nothing but praise on the aroma. The taste is EXCELLENT!!! Medium to full body, rich, complex, with a hint of sweetness. When you factor in the price, this one of THE BEST smokes out there. I'm thinking about stocking one of my smaller humidors with nothing but MAXX.
