Arganese Maduro Presidente Figurado
"Decent Cigar, but tight draw"
This was an OK cigar. When i got these, it was mostly because of my prior experience with the Arganese name and the beautiful shape. The flavor is decent, not great, but the draw was quite tight. For the price of a box, there are better choices.

"Ordered another box"
Great cigar, especially for the money. Slightly sweet and smooth with a good burn. I ordered a box because the price was so low and the reviews were mostly pretty good. Well, I smoked the whole box and enjoyed them so much, I ordered another box, which I rarely do.

"A very good cigar."
In the early summer I bought a new big humidor and intially stocked it with several hundred cigars including a couple bundles of these. Over time, and working my way through the varoius brands I contunually rated these as one of the best. "Save the best to last" would apply here along with a couple of boxes of closeout ultra premium cigars from Famous. I am continually impressed with the appearance, uniform nature, burn quality and taste. This is an excellent cigar with no surprises.

"Great cigar for the price"
A winner in my book, with an even burn and a smooth draw these guys are very mild and tasty. I got a bundle of 30 from cigarmonster.com for around $30 and at a dollar a stick I'm very happy with them. I can't wait to see how they age!!

Arganese Maduro Presidente Torpedo
"Borel stalking on the rail"
The Presidente Nicaraguan Torpedo is a terrific blend. It begins slowly with a decent amount of smoke and soft flavour for a full strngth cigar. its Broel out of the gate early and trailing the pack or race horses on the rail, from the mid section of the cigar the flavour begins to build and stalkes and stalks its way to a fantastic an excviting finish as this full falvoured blend delivers a punch in the last section near the nub, its so good you won't want to put it down as it reminds me of how Borel riding a race horse stalking from the rail, steadiuly building strength and power and delivering a fantastic finish. The Wrapper bodes well on the Presidente blend as Famous made them widely available to many smokers at an incredible price on a yankee auction in april, it was like an incredible price for a really good smoke, one that 'll remind you of a stalker style race horse ridden by one of the best old school jockeys. I'd rate this torpedo a 90.

"Good Quality. Poor draw"
Very flavorable cigar, but the draw was poor. So poor that I left them in the Humidor for a month and still found the draw very poor on a consistent basis. I tried rolling them between my fingers before smoking and they did not loosen a bit. I have tried all the tricks of the trade, but no success on the draw. If you like a tight draw this cigar is worth a shot, but I do not. Try a five pack first.

"The maduro full is fantastic, creamy & tasty!"
I tried these when the BOGO special was offered and fell in love with them. I bought six boxes, shared them with friends who all bought boxes in return. I don't understand the negative comments on these. The maduros are as good as any other maduro I have smoked and that is a lot.
