This is my favorite cigar at any price. It ha... moreThis is my favorite cigar at any price. It has a smooth creamy flavor, full bodied but not a hint of harshness from beginning to end. I've also smoked the very similar Classic but the Short Story is a more consistent smoke.

poor burn and construction
Was so looking forward to this little gem fro... moreWas so looking forward to this little gem from what I'd heard, but was very disappointed due to the construction and burn. About midway through thing started to canoe on me and also started to unravel. Did I just happen to get a dud? Seems this cigar is a bit overrated in the quality dept. No complaints about the flavor and body though!

Being a fan of more mild cigars (Ashton's, Ma... moreBeing a fan of more mild cigars (Ashton's, Macanudo's, etc.), I wasn't so sure if I'd like the Hemingway line. But i gave it a shot based on these reviews (also everyone I've ever asked loves these). This is an EXCELLENT cigar: medium bodied, extremely relaxing, soo smooth (not harsh at all), huge draw, great flavor, and awesome aroma. I made the Short Story last an entire hour, and it only ashed once! I'm definitely gonna try more of the Hemingway line. Hemingway's will make great gifts (especially the Masterpiece or Work of Art-if you can find it)!

I have been smoking Hemingways for about 9 ye... moreI have been smoking Hemingways for about 9 years, and have never been disappointed. The classic and short story are my favorites. Outside of Montecristo #2 (Cuba), Cohiba Espendido and robusto (Cuba), and anything Padron...these are the best cigars on the planet.
