Ashton Virgin Sun Grown Corona Gorda
"Hello Sargent Pepper"
Lets see this is about a $10 cigar. so visually and mechincally it should be perfect. It was not. looked ok. burn was noting special, had to touch it up about 4 times. The draw was down right awful. way way too tight and difficult to smoke. Makes you draw too hard and heats the thing up too much. Now taste is subjective but i have to say . . only buy this cigar if you like PEPPER . it was the most peppery cigar i ever had . . overwhelmingly so. kinda ruined it for me. On an expensive cigar i expect a smooth smoke end to end and an amazing finish that i don't want to put down. The finish on this one was less than average. I wouldn't keep these at $5 a piece

"It's Okay Cigar"
It is not a full cigar. It is a mild to medium cigar. It has a good drawn and white ashes. It is a well made cigars. It is little weaker in taste than Rocky Patel The Edge Lite. It is too high of the price than the old brand name. Overall, it is not bad.

"The Ashton VSG Churchill 5-pack sampler"
It is a mild to medium cigar. It is an average cigar in the tastes and flavors. It should be a seven dollars or less cigar's. Rocky Patel The Edge lite has better taste and flavor and alot cheaper.

"powerfull little cigar"
I have smoked many of these cigars ,and while i do like them i found them to be a little inconsistent. That being said they are a powerfull little cigar with creamy rich flavors, and the construction is top of the line.Maybe overpriced but you need to try them for yourself at least once to find out.

Ashton VSG Robusto 5 Pack
"Poorly made overpriced cigar"
I purchased this cigar on the advice of the smoke shop guy, who has steered me well a few times before. When I cut it, I noticed that the end was hard to cut (with a very expensive sharp cutter). Looking at the cut end the tobacco leaves were packed so tightly that the end looked like wood. I've never seen this before in any cigar. I slightly squeezed the cigar up and down and it seemed that the end 1 inch (near the foot) was very hard, obviously packed way too tight. I lit the cigar figuring it would draw like crap and sure enough it did. I made another cut about 1/8" in to no avail. Finally I used my pipe tool to poke into the cigar in several places to get it to draw ok. Even with this it was only ok, and there was really nothing exceptional about this cigar. Some may say that I may have purchased one bad one in the bunch, but for the price I paid there is no excuse - this is why these makers have Quality Control. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money on something better!

Ashton VSG Belicoso #1 5 Pack
"Mediocre cigar"
I mistakenly paid good money for this cigar and was vastly disappointed. For the money you could get a Padron Anniversay 1964 (any of them). For what the asking price is for that cigar, May I suggest you buy a box of Cuban Diplamaticos#2, Montecristo #2,Bolivar Belicoso Fino or Upman Magnum 50. Because the VSG isn't worth the money.

"Surprisingly nice!"
I stopped by a local shop that relocated to check out the new digs and picked up an Ashton VSG to go with the espresso I had ordered. This cigar was perfect right to the knuckles! It started with a perfect draw. Some nice nutty and leather flavors came out right away and I thought I tasted a little coffee flavor there (although I was drinking espresso, so don't count on that being there when you smoke one). This was a real smooth and enjoyable smoke from start to finish. Very consistent flavor throughout and an even burn. Too bad this cigar is so expensive (about $10 for a Tres Mystique in the shop - save a couple of bucks and buy it at this site!). It's what you'd expect from a premium cigar. It won't let you down. Just make sure you bring your American Express.

"One of The BEST! Cubans included."
I am half way through a box of these unbelievable sticks and they keep getting better. They have now barely nudged ahead of my Gurkha Titans and Padron Serie 1964 as the favorite stick in my humidor. You won't be dissapointed!!

"Full throttle experience - sweet"
This stogie's shape is risky because sometimes you get a bad light, or an irregular burn -- but oh man, when this stick is firing on all cylinders, you'll want to fasten your seat belt and hang on because it's a hell of a fun ride. This is the Ashton VSG tobacco and it's head-of-the class stuff, deep and complex, tasting well-aged right out of the box. After lighting, but before the full girth of the 60 ring part of this stick gets going, there's a great spicy-complex flavor that hints about what is coming. You keep herfing... the full volume of the cigar gets going... wham! A huge, lush flavor -- the best of what the VSG line has to offer -- sucker-punches you. This isn't a dark/strong flavor, it's just rich and meaty without being heavy. You keep herfing, and that richness gets more focused, like the shape of the stick -- at this point, like a torpedo of sorts -- stronger, spicier, kicks like a mule. You can smoke one of these in a half-hour and feel like you've been out relaxing for three hours. More than most sticks, the shape of this stog shows off the tobacco. Who should smoke this cigar? Not for newbies, because it could be overpowering, but for anyone who wants to experience a jolt from an amazing line of cigars: this is a damn fun cigar to smoke.
