I have been making my way through the sampler... moreI have been making my way through the sampler and I am pleased to report that this brand of cigar is a winner!
I have smoked the Robusto (already ordered a box), the Lonsdale and the Perfeccion. Every style was equal in quality, burn and taste. I am impressed.
I have been an on again off again cigar smoker for the last 30 years and have tried virtually everything worth smoking out there.
I can say that these cigars are definitelty worth a try at least as a sampler purchase if not a BOX from the get go!
The burn was perfect, construction seemed top notch, taste was mild to medium with a consistent robust flavor throughout, draw was perfecto! The cigar comes into its own about 3/4 of the way through which is impressive at this price. Ash was also impressive. I logged a good 3 inches on my Perfeccion before it dropped away, and the cigar continued its even burn till the savory end!
For the price, you could do much, much worse!

I bought a box of robustos and found the cons... moreI bought a box of robustos and found the construction to be very consistent along with the draw. Have not found one that had a plug yet, BUT, the flavor is just not there for me. They get a little better past the halfway point. Very good ash too. I think this is a "beginner" stick.

Not surprised that they have been discontinue... moreNot surprised that they have been discontinued. They are not worth the money. The wrapper is tissue thin and they literally explode open and come unwrpped.
I've had mine in the humidor for months with no improvement.
