(((Opinion )))-- After reviewing the Famous 70th Anniversary, Robusto, 5 Pack Sampler, I find that the La Aurora Natural Robusto, is the only cigar, worthy of honorable mention. The remaining four cigars, are mediocre at best. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the sampler pack 4 less

The Famous 70th Anniversary Camacho Robusto in this sampler pack, is a dark, vainy, maduro, that burns with a loose jagged ash, witch needed to be corrected throughout the burn. Hints of wood and vanilla wisp, throughout the nose during the burn. Slight hints of Vanilla, and wood, were also present on the pallet. Near the end of the burn, the wrapper seemed to fall apart .The burn time for this robusto is approximately 50 minutes. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate this cigar 3 less

The Famous 70th Anniversary Perdomo Robusto from this 5 pack sampler, is medium in strength and features a nice Connecticut shade, light brown wrapper. The burn was uneven, and needed to be corrected throughout. Faint notes of wood and leather were present in the nose, and only slightly, on the pallet. The burn time for this robusto was approximately 90 minuets. On a scale of 1 to10 I'd rate this cigar 4.5 less

The Famous 70th Anniversary Plasencia robusto from this sampler pack, is a medium bodied, well made, complex cigar, that fetchers a cinnamon colored rapper, with a slight burgundy hue. The construction of this robusto is good, although the burn is somewhat jagged. Notes of black pepper and ceder flood the nose throughout the burn. Some leather, and wood were present on the pallet. The burn time for this cigar is approximately 90 minuets. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate this cigar 7. less

The Famous 70th Anniversary, Garcia Family Robusto, sports a well constructed, although vainy, cinnamon colored rapper. The cigar's burn is uneven, and needed to be corrected throughout the burn. This robusto stings the nose with hints of leather, that seem to dissipate throughout the burn. A bitter after taste was left in the mouth at the finish of the cigar. The burn time for this cigar is approximately 60 minuets. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this cigar 4 less

The Famous 70th Anniversary, La Aurora Robusto from this sampler pack, sports a very nice, caramel colored rapper, with a perfectly flat cap. The ash is firm, and the burn is even. Through out the first half of the burn, notes of wood linger in the nose, and on the pallet. Throughout the second half of the burn, the notes of wood, that were present in the nose, now change into hints of nuts. Sweet nuts and bread, were also detected on the pallet. At the end of the burn, notes of wood and nuts that were present in the nose, now change completely, into creamy notes of almonds, with no bitter aftertaste left remaining in the mouth. The burn time for this robusto is approximately 60 minuets. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd rate this cigar 10 --Note-- Opinion-- You'll want to smoke this robust right down to the nub. less
