Carlos Torano Exodus Silv Cigars
Carlos Torano Exodus Silv cigars are medium to full bodied cigars made with a more complex blend than the gold banded 1959 Edition. These luxurious cigars are draped in gorgeous Criollo wrappers married to a rich combination of Honduran, Mexican and Costa Rican filler tobaccos. The result is a very spicy, yet marvelously smooth smoke with traces of dark caramel, citrus and cedar that captures the essence of the best 'pre-embargo' Cuban cigars. A very rewarding evening smoke, indeed.

This is my new favorite daily smoke. I was smoking Montecristo Vintage Platinums until last night. Don't get me wrong, I still love em', but I realized they're lacking a bit following the Torano Silvers. The Toranos don't need any box time, and they probably won't get any. Perfect burn, draw and consistency. The taste is great and the construction is perfect as far as I'm concerned. less

This smoke is just amazing. Once you are an inch or so in it opens up with smooth flavor. Its body remains medium without ever getting bitter or too strong. And the contrast of the flawless wrapper with the silver ash and silver band is a sight to see. Also the smooth blue smoke flowing off the 2+inch ash they hold is just an appearance that few cigars can match. This is not just a good looking cigar, it is equally as orally pleasing. For the price these are a steal, but that makes it sound like they are just a bargain they are not, they truely are a super premium cigar. less

"More like Margarine-y, but not too bad.."

Ok, I probably wouldn't buy a whole box. But if someone gave me some I wouldn’t turn them down. Someone else said "buttery" but my wife said "more like margarine-y". Nonetheless, a positive experience. Some subtle butter and nut flavors, hints of earthiness. Smell is not displeasing. I’d give it a 3.5 out of 5. My wife would give it a 6.5 out of 10. She normally loves Padrons, Fuentes, and CAOs. I love those plus anything by Rocky – just to give you a frame of reference. less

"OK Smoke Good for the Money"
Having read about the Carlos Torano products ... more
Having read about the Carlos Torano products for some time I finally decided to try them for myself. I chose the Exodus '59 Silver for its supposed full bodied flavor but found it to be somewhat lacking. It had a nice even burn but went out several times. Rolled very tightly as well. Good flavor but not great. less

"One of My Favorites"

I like to challenge myself with the samplers that are offered, and after several trials, I ended up favoring two cigars: the CAO Gol! and the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Silver. I have never been disappointed by this Robusto- the burn, taste, smoke density, and draw are flawless, and it makes it hard for me to want anything else. Just a great cigar, and it's less expensive than the CAO! less
