Got these in a sampler and finally tried one...good construction and burn...but little to no taste...too mild from start to finish...think I'll save these in the humidor for the friends of mine that don't smoke too much. less

Tried a 5 pack of these. Wrapper was bitter to the taste (first time I ever experienced this). No flavor whatsoever in the smoke. Put it out after smoking about 1 inch of it. Yuck. I'll leave the other 4 in the humi for a while and see if they improve. It not, at least they weren't expensive. less

These taste awsome. Spicy, nutty flavor but packed to tight a draw which throws it off. All in all, flavor still makes up for it. less

I got one of the natural robustos in a sampler. Nice mild cigar with a decent taste. Then I saw the Madison in the "claro" (really a candella, isn't it?) wrapper and decided to try a 5 pack. I like 'em. Its a good Dominican with a difference. Good draw, good burn. I think the flavor of the candella wrapper is enhanced by the smaller ring gauge of the Madison. I'll be buying more to keep in the humidor. A nice change of pace, for sure. less

"Exceptional Mild Cigar Value"
Got this one "short robusto" in a s... more
Got this one "short robusto" in a sampler. What a pleasant surprise. Easily comparable with Macs, Montys, Griffins ,,, in fact, I find this cigar not only at least as good looking and as well constructed as it's pricier com padres (the ash held firmly to three of it's 4 1/2 inch length), it has more flavor too. If you're looking for a mild cigar with flavor, this is the one. An exceptional value! Good as-is, no doubt it would be better with a few months' aging. less
