Famous 70th Perdomo Cigars
Famous Private Selection 70th Anniversary Edition commemorates our 70 years of success. This limited-edition installment comes from Tabacalera Perdomo, and employs a blend of Nicaraguan longfillers & binders aged a minimum of 3 years. The cigars are flawlessly encased in silky, aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Corojo wrappers. With an even burn and strong ash, the smoke is on the full side of medium-bodied. Initial notes of pepper mellow to reveal complex woody, nutty flavors on a lingering finish.

As a fan of Perdomo lot 23's I thought I'd try these for a change. All I can say on the 70th anniv. toro is, unless you like a soft stick stay away from these, they actually get softer after you fire them up. Maybe I had a bad box but I would have returned them had I not passed out a couple to my friends and was already five into the box before I realized how bad they are.So if you like to bite down on a firm smoke that doesn't get softer after you fire it up stay away from these. I've had better seconds. less

"Impressed!"
I've never been a big fan of Perdomo cigars. ... more
I've never been a big fan of Perdomo cigars. With the exception of the Lot 23 maduro, I just haven't found Perdomo to my liking -- until this weekend. The Famous 70th Perdomo was fantastic. Medium bodied, deep creamy earthen flavors; coupled with an easy draw and clean burn made this one an extremely enjoyable smoke. My hats off to Famous and Perdomo on this one. less

Talk about a bang for your buck! This smoke starts off great and only gets better. I've been a fan of Perdomo since the Golf collection came out but this blend is exceptional. This is a mild smoke with nutty flavor. Consistent burn with a great draw. This smoke is a real tribute to FSS' 70th Anniversary. less

"Best house-blend I've ever smoked"

I just got my box of these in on Friday, and although I know I should have let them sit longer than two days, I could not help myself. Even though it did come off as a little young, it is still absolutely the best house cigar I've ever had. I would say it rivals the ESV as my favorite Perdomo right now, and it shows all the signs that it well age extremely well. I cannot wait to smoke one of these in a few months. less

I agree with the other reviewers as to the quality of these Perdomos. I bought a box when they were released and they only improve with a little time in the humi. Thanks to Famous for a great deal! less

These medium bodied cigars show their youth, although the tobacco is aged. The profile of this cigar reminded me of Dominican cigars. Regardless, I think these have great potential in the humi! Well worth the price. less
