I purchased the sampler to try Acid cigars, I know they get mixed reviews alot so heres my take on it humidor was a nice size to tag along on summer cook outs or on the boat. The root natural maduro was a decent, well constructed smoke with a very earthy taste. The dirt torpedo was a neat little treat, the tip seemed to be flavored a bit, overall a medium body smoke The liquid was interesting, here's were I see its love it or hate it. Not a traditional smoke. Very unique floral and earthy notes start to finish. Goes good with a Sam Adams cream stout beer or maybe a Guinness; skip the scotch or cognac on this one. The Kuba Kuba, what can I say? Would I smoke another maybe, would I make it my fav? no. It's a very interesting smoke, and I think everyone should try one for the experience. I always try lots of scotches to broaden my palette, do the same with cigars the more you try the more you might find you like, regardless if someone else doesn't like it less

Value:A+ There is something in this sampler for everyone. (Yes, even the cigar snobs but they won't admit it). No, I don't work for FSS! I enjoyed all of them except the Caridad, (too dry, construction not very good)the others were between an 8 and a 9 rating which is to be expected but very good in all catagories. The Olor and the Cruze Real were my favorites. less

I am very happy to say this has go to be one of the best auction items i have bid on. I won this item on auction for a mere $101.. no that's not a typo... only a mere $101.. this is truly a steal for these fine sticks. The ashtray is freakin sweet as well. The lighter is also very nice. nothing but quality smokes, not one filler. I bid on this only for the humidor as i needed room for my other auction items to be stored in. I didn't even notice the cigar selection until i had won the auction... man am i both stupid and very very lucky today... thanks FSS, you guys rock!!! less

So far, I have only tried the Nicarao Robusto and the CAO Brazilia, but both of these cigars top anything I have ever tried. The Brazilia so far is my favorite. Awesome full/rich flavor. Consistent burn and well constructed. The nicarao was good too, just not nearly as good as the Brazilia. The cutter that comes with the sampler is pretty nice and the Apprentice humidor will be nice to use as a travel humidor after I add a lock mechanism. The only complaint I have is that the rocky patel fell apart on me when I cut it. Very disappointing. I would definitely recommend this sampler if you like full bodied cigars. Great buy. less
