Taste is ok but the draw on a box of these is very inconsistent. Most of them have a very difficult draw making the smoke an unpleasant effort. Until they learn better way of wrapping...waste of time and money.

"Best Value--Period! Genuinely Creamy Wrapper"

This is the most noticeably "creamy" feeling to the lips cigar (not tasting) I've ever smoked. In fact in over 10yrs., it is the only one with that unique sensation once it is moistened by the lips . I'm not sure why the wrapper feels that way, but it does. The smoke-strength is a nice break for the palate after smoking big-tasting/strong cigars. I would put it in the Mild-Medium range. The taste is a pleasant, middle-of-the-road type. I have not experienced what the one reviewer was talking about as far as consistency (been buying them for years), but I've always found the burn to be fairly true (no canoeing). However, I usually re-humidify my cigars BEFORE smoking. If after that process I have burn issues, then I place the blame on the cigar's quality.
FYI--A gadget I purchased years ago was a cigar 'poker'. It looks a bit like a kabob skewer and is used by placing the cigar in the accompanying plastic 'trough' to cradle it while the poker is pushed through the center of the entire cigar's length. It takes less than a minute and helps to revive most tightly packed or poor drawing stogies.

I'm a regular Joe with a 3-4 stick a day habit. I don't taste cocoa or cedar or hints of spice. What I do get is that for just over 2 bucks a stick you can't go wrong if you like mild cigars. Great construction, burn and draw with a really smooth mild taste that doesn't fry your palate after 1 or 2. Great smoke with coffee, iced tea or a really smooth light (summery) beer. Gets lost with anything bolder than that.

From first laying eyes on this cigar I was impressed. The construction was beautiful. Very tight and firm cigar with a very clean and buttery wrapper.
Upon lighting this Toro I found a very mild flavor, so mild unfortunately that it left something to be desired. I had troubles picking up any tones and was left searching for flavor with each puff.
The draw was a bit more difficult than I prefer but by no means bad. Consistency was there perfectly from the first puff to the last. The burn was also nice and even without harshness at the end.
Overall a very good cigar for the price, but I'll keep searching for that "every day" gar.

Just received a 5-pack of these puppies. Good looking cigar and for 12 bucks you can't beat it, but the taste and draw are this cigars downfall. Will not buy again.

Bought a 5 pack of the Toros (Connecticut) a few months ago. Looked good. Smoked one right out of the package. Draw and burn was good, But it didn't taste good. It had an unpleasant tangy, "whang" (for the lack of a better word) taste. Tried another about a week later...same thing. Hmmm....I left the other 3 in the humidore and pretty much forgot about them. A couple of months passed and a couple days ago I was rummaging around in the humi, looking for something different than my "regulars" to smoke. Grabbed one of the Gisperts and fired it up. Much better than before. The whang was gone anyway. I dunno... While I wouldn't call it great, its still an OK cigar. There are better, cheaper cigars out there. Don't think I'll be buying a box.

Well worth the money but not mind-blowing. Excellent construction, draws seems a little tight but not bad compared to almost all others in the same price range. Flavor is very good and also better than most bargains. The Glass Tubo was very nicely done and the box/presentation makes it look like a MUCH MORE expensive cigar. If you like bargains, this is a excellent choice, I reviewed the 5-pack because I suggest trying it first (like most other competitively priced cigars).
