Gurkha Ancient Warrior Cigars Description

Gurkha Ancient Warrior premium cigars are luxury-class cigars with a very attractive price. Medium to full in body, each cigar is handcrafted with a perfectly-balanced blend of robust Dominican and Honduran long-filler tobaccos, Nicaraguan binder, and a zesty Brazilian wrapper leaf. The smoke starts out spicy, rounding out to a sweeter, toastier flavor with much more depth and gobs of thick, creamy smoke. A marvelously complex cigar embellished by notes of caramel and cedar on a long finish.

Got a 5-pack of these at the auction for symbolic price. Even though Gurkha brand hype is probably exagerrated and the long list of product names is too confusing this stick did not disappoint me. Good quality medium bodied smoke, sweet and smooth, reach in flavour. Would not buy a box for a regular price yet but will look for future auction opportunities. less

Tried my first one from a (5) pack of various cigars I purchased. We a little hard to light up but once going burned very well. The ash held together and increased to slightly less than half the length before breaking off. Construction held together thru the length but the quality of the outer wrapper did show a few voids underneath. Considering some of the comments I see on this and other websites this cigar was a pleasant one to smoke. I would buy these again and might purchase a box and let them sit for a few months. less

Gurkha has a very nice lineup of good smokes, and this one is no exception. For the price, it delivers a smooth creamy, toasty smoke. Not overly complex, but still very nice flavor. Not in my top 5, but certainly makes it's way into my humi. It's rustic beauty and flavor is it's strong points. less

I love Gurkha and the Perfecto #1 is just one of my top 5 smokes. This #2 burned flawlessly. The draw was perfect! This is one of those smokes that gives you a ton of smoke to blow. The taste was not as good though. The #1 is king in this department. The #2 is harsh - maybe needs time in the humidor? Maybe it's smaller size is the reason? Who knows but it was still a great smoke and is a good size for a quicky. less
