I've been smoking the Macanudo Duke of Windsors for the past 7-8 years and have never been disappointed my box purchases. These beautiful looking and well constructed cigars are mild to medium with a bit more complex flavor and aroma than most Macs (eg. Hyde Park). They improve immensely with aging (I take them out of the plastic sleeves and rest them in my cigar chest for 3 months or more). You will be rewarded with one of the finest mild smokes around. However, from time to time, like many belicoso type cigar shapes, occasional individual cigars get the hard draw issue. So I'm not sure if this is the issue with the lower than expected rating on this site. I'm surprised and puzzled as I have been smoking cigars for over 14 years and would rate this cigar a 90 at the very least, especially at around $5 a stick, it's a great value. The Duke of Windsor is still and always will be one of my favorite smokes in the morning and/or after lunch. less

Prefix; beginner to the cigar world. Draw, appearance, construction all seem solid, I really enjoyed the taste; I think natural wrappers start off slow and get much better as you progress. Consistency and burn are good. I just have to decide which wrapper I like better the natural or maduro! less

Back in the 90's this was a great cigar. I am sorry to say this cigar was very disappointing. I took a handful on a fishing trip and came back with all but a few. I found it hard to say anything good about this cigar other than it look pretty good. less

Wow, what a nice smoker. Taste great, keeps great, nice cigar for a daily light smoker. If you wanna be a easy social smoker these are for you. I enjoy macanudo cigars and am not a heavy smoker and i really enjoy these. Tasted many but these are great. The type of cigar you can offer to a non cigar smoker and they will like it less
