Smoked my first one of these last night and it was pretty good. Complimented with some congnac the flavor really came through. The first thing I noticed was the sweetened wrapper. I have found that when a cigar is "flavored" like this it's because they're usually trying to hide something. No so here! The full flavor of the cigar came through. For an inexpensive smoke, it wasn't bad at all. Only lasted about 45 minutes though that's not really a problem. I found it to get a little hot near the end, but that also did not ruin the experience. I will, most likely, buy a box of these to keep around as a good general smoke. less

Took a vacation over the summer, and picked this boy up by chance. Never heard of the brand before. Could've been attracted to the glass tube :) Anyway, I wasn't expecting anything special, just a good smoke. I was blown away by the incredibly sweet aroma, and no nasty morning-after taste. I like sweet cigars, and this seems to be the mother of sweetness I have tried so far. Anyway, this is a nice little cigar that has a lot of flavor. It's weird this is all natural and not infused and still has all these vanilla / fruity flavors. It's nothing complex I think, but just nice. It stays the same throughout. I smoked for about 30 minutes. less

...and that's when you get out of bed first thing in the afternoon. Grab a cup of cuban espresso, throw a bit of cream and cane sugar in it, and browse the latest deals on Famous. The Root should be your first smoke of the day...I wouldn't recommend smoking one after a Camacho. I much prefer these to Drew's Acid line, as they not over perfumed or sweetened. The build is generally perfect, as is the draw. These are of course infused, but still manage to strike a nice balance of flavor. Say what you will about Drew, but in my opinion they do have a time and a place. less

I am on my third box of Natural Clean Robusto by Drew Estate and have been very pleased with the consistency and high quality in both manufacture and flavor. I prefer a more full flavor for every day, but for a change of pace, this smoke fits the bill. An occasional dip in a good brandy on a summer evening here in the Rockies is about the perfect way to enjoy the Clean Robusto. less

These little cigars a great don't get me wrong but they are not as consistent as more expensive cigars and if they are not kept humidified and stored properly for longer than 1-3 days, even in a Ziploc bag they will not be worth smoking. Another thing to note is that the flavor varies from cigar to cigar a little even from the same box, some might like it others might not. Try before you buy. less
