I got one of these as a 'freebee' at the Famous Retail outlet. I let it sit in my humidor for about six months and came upon it today, so I thought I'd give it a go. I was surprised by the construction and flavour. It was consistent from beginning to end - a full full flavour cigar with a chocolate overtone. Burned very nicely to the stub. less

This is 1 cigar I can get into. Have to say honestly not a huge fan of most the Pepin Garcia's line's. I do like some, let's face it there's a lot to choose from coming out of those factories these days. On a whole though I find most of the medium-full cigars, which I prefer, most of Pepin's stuff comes off way to peppery or spicey for my taste. This is one collaboration with Nestor Miranda that is right in my weelhouse of M-F stog's. Picked up 1 at 1 one of my local B&M's the other day and enjoyed the hell out of it. I smoke a lot of different cigar's, unlike most smoker's these days; said jokingly. How can you not smoke a lot of different cigar's these days if you are a true cigar smoker.When a cigar leaves an impression on me I always will go and find a good deal on multiples of that cigar and so I did and now I am smoking my 3rd one, so I have a good grasp of the flavors. Anyway, this cigar is nice. Starts out nutty with slight spice. Gorgueas looking cigar with a nice sheen on the wrapper. Great pre-light aroma, then the light. Starts out smooth as can be, then starts to build in strength gradually, just how I like it. There's a lot of straight forward classic tobbaco flavors, leathery core taste with slight sweetness and spice balance well. Paired up with a nice IPA local brew which will get you a nice buzz working, this cigar is perfect on a hot summer night in Texas. Nubbing this baby as I wright this review. If you like cigar's then get yourself one of these, that's the final reccomedation. Pepin deliver's on this one for me. less
