Nicarao Cigars
These Nicarao cigars are a new, full-bodied selection handcrafted at Rocky Patel's El Paraiso factory in Honduras. Much more refined in flavor and quality than the original blend, this all Nicaraguan leaf recipe uses Esteli Ligero & Viso longfillers rolled in dark, oily Jalapa wrappers. Nicarao offers you a smooth and creamy smoke, dense with rich woody overtones that bloom into a spicy, robust, yet non-overpowering cigar. In a word: Impressive! Try a box, or start with a 5-pack and compare.

First off this cigar is not spicy...
It's got a deep earthy character, with a nice wood aroma.
And a slight sweetness that fades in and out of the retrohale.
It's a solid medium body cigar that's worth picking up.
Glad I purchased a box. less

This cigar is blended and produced by Rocky Patel. It is an excellently constructed stick with perfect burn. Flavor was similaar to the ITC 10th ann. If it looks like a Rocky, and tastes like a Rocky, hey, it must be a Rocky! The guy is just good at his craft. less

"Great cigar for the price!"

I purchased a box of these cigars because of the cheap price, trusting Rocky Patel's quality and the blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. They description on the web site describes these cigars well. My first cigar had a slightly poor burn, but I suspect subsequent sticks have had a good burn and ash, after they were allowed to sit in the humidor a few days. These are proving to be a great cigar! less

Got this in a robusto sampler. A fine cigar. Lots of smooth, creamy smoke. Excellent draw and burn. At first not much happening. About an inch into it, a subtle flavor of coffee and dark chocolate followed by a spicy, woody taste with a pleasing aroma. A pleasant, flavorful cigar that I will buy again. less

It seems that all my favorites have gotten more expensive with all the pleasure taxes being imposed on us by the current regime. When I smoked this robusto in a sampler it really caught my attention. A beautiful blend spice to smooth to a real kick in the last third. I am a customer and fan of both Rocky and Nestor. They really put a great smoke out at a great price! less

I got this cigar in a sample pack (Rocky Road to Famous Smoke or something like that). Upon lighting the cigar, my first reaction was surprise at how strong it was right off the bat. The smoke was heavy and sweet with earthy tones. I never felt that this smoke got spicy. It was smooth the whole way through. The burn was very good with some short runs that quickly corrected themselves. The draw was also very good. A very enjoyable stick. Rocky Patel continues to impress. less
