Onyx Reserve Cigars
Onyx Reserve cigars are medium to full-bodied, Maduro cigars handmade in the Dominican Republic with Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan tobaccos, a Nicaraguan binder, and a rich-tasting Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper. But the real kicker in this cigar is its spicy Peruvian, Cuban-seed Ligero tobaccos. This brand, which has earned a '94' score in Cigar Insider, is a must-smoke if you enjoy the depth and naturally sweet taste of Maduro cigars. PLEASE NOTE: Most sizes are box-pressed.

I got ten of these for my birthday two years ... moreI got ten of these for my birthday two years ago, these were my very first cigars. Reading the other reviews, I think I got lucky. My cigars were well but together, had an even burn. and had quite a flavor. The draw was alittle hard, but the smoke was very think and spicy. less

Onyx was the first cigar I blew a smoke ring ... moreOnyx was the first cigar I blew a smoke ring on 12 years ago. This dark, yet smooth and nutty stick has always been a favorite. The draw is a bit tough due to dense construction, yet this construction always leads to a good even burn so I just cut a bit bigger cut and don't worry too much about it. Highly recommended. less

"Cigarettes Anyone?"
I bought these because I am a fan of the Onyx... moreI bought these because I am a fan of the Onyx Reserve #4. However, these mini cigars turned out gross immediately upon lighting. They are dry, really bitter, even with slow smoking. Burnt toothpaste would taste better. And this was the whole tin. Buy the regular Onxys. For the mini cigars, I recommend Oliva Series G or the Olors. Try to stay at the ring gauge 38 or 34. less
