"Did I get a dud?"
With all of the high ratings here it would be easy to assume I had a dud, but I'll just lay out the issues I had with this stick. First of all the burn was very inconsistent; it took extreme diligence, several touch-ups, and nonstop puffing to maintain something resembling an even burn. Flavors were inconsistent too, with one puff hinting at complexity and deliciousness, and the next few puffs being downright harsh or unremarkable (perhaps attributable to the burn problems?). Like I said, the cigar did have some high points where its potential came out, but the puff-by-puff shifting of flavors from good to nasty was disconcerting. Can't recommend.

"Not strong"
I've smoked many boxes off different Camacho Corojo and love the strength and flavor. This box was medium, not strong at all. Maybe the large gauge mellows the blend? I'll stick with toro size from now on.

"Rated a 93....Well Deserved"
Maybe the strongest cigar I've ever smoked, and that's saying something. Punch Gran Puros, Carlos Torano Exodus 1959s, Camacho Coyolar Puro, Excalibur 1066 Black Knights, and Bolivar take up my humidor. Having said that, this cigar is amazing, complex, full of flavor, and not harsh at all. Spicy with a long finish. A very memorable smoke, and you will not be able to forget the taste. Like another review said, good luck trying to put it down. A very good cigar for after a large or spicy dinner, or late in the evening.

"Great taste and beautifully constructed."
Everything the Cuban Montecristo #2 is supposed to be. A beautiful, delicious smoke that gets better so that you can't put it down.
