CAO Brazilia Gol !
"Overall Not Impressed"
CAO Brazilia Gol !
Overall the highlight of this cigar is the taste. Construction is poor with the wrapper cracking despite having rested in my humidor for 3 weeks, the draw was too loose for my taste but might be Ok for others. The burn was slightly uneven but did not require touch ups.
The taste is good during the first third and becomes very good in the second third.
Deserve to be tried again to check if the build issue was about my luck.

"amazing, a new favorite."
CAO Brazilia Amazon
I knew i would like this cigar before i even purchased some, there was just something about it that drew me in. Very creamy, cocoa, nutty, leather, earthy flavor, with random puffs of mocha and a very distinct green pepper to start, then finished with a more earthy, slightly less creamy texture. perfect burn, never harsh or bitter, held an ash so thick it didn't fall off after i flicked it. And for 88 a box! Wonderful. A maduro lovers dream.

"General Cigar Has Killed the CAO Brand"
CAO Brazilia Amazon
General Cigar's recent acquisition of CAO is a sad thing. They have changed the MX2 and Brazilia cigar lines so drastically that I will no longer be smoking CAO cigars. I have smoked CAO's Brazilias and MX2s almost exclusively for over 10 years, but their horrible immitation of CAO's original brilliant blends are un-smokeable. Gone is the lush, oily wrapper and complex taste. General Cigar has replaced them with a very dry leaf and a one-dimensional, flavorless blend. The construction of the cigar is equally disappointing. The wrap is loose and the cigar tends to just fall apart. I cannot express how disappointed I am in what General Cigar has done to my beloved CAOs.

"General Cigar Killed This Brand"
CAO Brazilia Cariocas (5)
The CAO Brazilia used to be my favorite cigar. It was until General Cigar got their hands on it and changed this brand completely. My review reflects the new, General Cigar CAO Brazilia.

"Stick with full sized"
CAO Brazilia Gol !
Don't get me wrong, Brazilia's are brilliant cigars. But smaller sizes suffer, and this was no exception.

"Best Cigar I've had"
CAO Brazilia Samba
This is hands down my favorite cigar. I've smoked a few opus x's, davidoff's, fuentes, and I would buy the brazilia over all of them, any time, any day. Perfect burn, great earthy taste, great draw, couldn't be any better in my book. My only complaint is that famous doesn't seem to sell the box press. Either way, an excellent smoke!

"...beautiful..."
CAO Brazilia Gol !
I got this at a recent dinner event in San Diego. Beautifully constructed, inviting fragrance, nice construction and above all - a consistent full bodied flavour down to the nub.

"mmmm...CHOCOLATE!"
CAO Brazilia Gol !
A genuine GEM of a smoke. I have smoked about 10 of these now and love the flavor. The cigar starts with a RUSH of multiple flavors of chocolate, caramel and spice. As the smoke progresses it stabilizes through the middle with cocao, then finishes warm and spicy. Such a complex cigar, I love it. The only issue I have encountered is the draw, with 2 of 10 having a hard draw, but fixed them somewhat using a nail. Buy this stick, you will be pleased!

One of the best smokes ever. This cigar now has its own humidor in my home. I will be ordering several more boxes of this tasty treat. By far the best that CAO has to offer.
