CAO Gold cigars, like all of CAO's selections, are praised for their flavor and fine craftsmanship. The affordably-priced Gold selection features traditional round shapes blended with Nicaraguan long fillers and golden Ecuadorian Connecticut seed wrappers. Milder in strength than some of CAO's other cigars, the smoke offers a smooth draw and a mellow, toasty aroma. A good cigar for introducing yourself to the renowned CAO brand of fine premium cigars. The CAO Gold Double Corona (N) is the perfect cigar for me. The Mild:Medium taste will not overwhelm you with richness. Those searching for a stronger cigar will not find this blend satisfactory. CAO has one characteristic that stands heads above all fine cigars - the consistency of a perfect draw is unparalleled and a benchmark that other premium cigar manufacturers all aim for. When I cut the end of my cigar off, even before lighting it, I can count on smoking a magnificent cigar - that about says it all.less

The burn was even the whole way, a very nice feature. The draw was somewhat difficult. Although the cigar wasn't plugged, the draw wasn't easy. The appearance was excellent. The taste was decent for a mild/medium bodied cigar. The construction was not perfect. For the first 3/4 of the cigar, the wrapper was intact but for the last 1/4 the wrapper came completely off. I won't buy this one again.less
Rating Our Cigars When viewing the page for a specific box or bundle of cigars, you'll notice a "Customer Ratings" section below the Description/Reviews section. This is your chance to rate the cigar according to six criteria: Burn, Consistency, Draw, Appearance, Taste, and Construction.
How well did this cigar burn?
Do these cigars perform consistently?
Was the draw good? Too loose or tight?
How did the cigar look?
How was the flavor and aroma of the cigar?
How well was the cigar rolled?
Rate the cigar from one to ten (Poor to Excellent) by clicking the bar at the appropriate number. Once you've selected a rating for all six categories, click "Submit Your Ratings." If you submit more than one rating per cigar, your latest rating will overwrite your previous rating.
You'll then see a link to write a review. You can rate any cigar in our humidor. Please note that numerical ratings are FOR CIGARS ONLY. Have fun!
