After over 20+ years working for the Federal ... moreAfter over 20+ years working for the Federal Government, there comes a time when all I want is to relax when I get home and enjoy a good smoke. This particular stick was perfect with a double Kettle One, double olive, on the rocks and a good magazine. All I can say is give it a try, you won't be disapointed. Flavor starts strong and interesting, gets stronger until it is simply too bitter and too harsh. "rich flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa and hints of leather and sweet spice." is simply not true, or completely masked by the harshness.

I bought a 5-pack of these recently and condi... moreI bought a 5-pack of these recently and conditioned them for (only) about 2 to 3 weeks in my humidor. The first one I smoked was rolled too tightly and I couldn't get it to draw well, even after drilling the end of the cigar with the end of a wood match (which almost always works). The cigar burned unevenly and just failed to impress. I almost gave up after the first cigar. Then I smoked the second one and found it to be a totally flavorful smoke. This stick was a little mild for my tastes (in this class, I like the AVO Maduro better) -- but it was a nice, consistent smoke. The wrapper is slightly oily but shows quite a bit of veining and sometimes the cigar runs a little along those pronounced veins. The smoke is a little earthy with some cocoa undertones. Maybe some hardwood taste in there someplace, too. Overall an enjoyable cigar if you like the mild side of Maduro. The price is right and, given the price, I'd say it's a pretty good value. I'd buy a couple of these sticks again for a changeup.

This is one of the most dissapointing cigars ... moreThis is one of the most dissapointing cigars that I have ever smoked. The construction, appearance,burn, and draw are top notch. HOWEVER the taste leaves NOTHING to be desired. IT tastes just like the "FAMOUS DOMINICAN 4000". I mean JUST like it. If you like the taste of stale beer or paper, then this is the smoke for you. I can honestly say I wouldnt even give one of these to a NUB smoker. Let alone ever BUY ONE AGAIN. yuck!

FSS got this one wrong on the strength rating... moreFSS got this one wrong on the strength rating. I am a mild and medium strength cigar smoker. I know a full strength cigar when I somke one. CT signatue robusto is a medium bodied full flavor cigar. Somewhat woodsy like the dirt natural by Drew Estate and chocolatey with a medium finish.
