Each Cigar Oasis XL replacement cartridge contains a foam core with distilled water and an antifungal agent. Under normal use the cartridge can last up to a year. It may be refilled once or twice, but over time, the foam breaks down, the antifungal agent is depleted, and a new cartridge is needed.
