Good tasting smoke for a cheaper cigar. Very uneven burn as a general rule. Will buy them til I find something better at the same price.

"One to buy again"
I have had my share of cigars 286 different brands in my scrap book over the years including those some of those unmentionable cigars. Some are keepers and some just are not. The La Floridita Toro Maduro is one I will purchase again. I like the flavor, aroma, and burn. I know everyone has expectations by reading the reviews. These really matched what I was looking for, a full to medium cigar, with good flavor and aroma. I haven't experienced the burning problems most have spoken about. Some time in the humidor, toast the end good, and take slow draws and watch the bluish grey smoke roll off one of the cigar. Great with a good belt of scotch. What a treat!! If you draw it hard it will bite. I took it slow and easy and it really surprised me.

"Not Very Lucky"
I wasn't lucky with this one. After three-fourths the way through I just gave up and tossed it. The end burned very unevenly. The taste and smell started great but after half way through they both went way downhill. Some of the wrapper peeled off near the draw and the sticker was very cheaply made and tore off rather than sliding off. My opinion is to spend your money on something else.

"Decent Smoke, Slow Burn"
Picked these up for the "what a bargain" price and was not dissatisfied. A good cigar taste but a really slow burn. Be ready to spend a good hour or so with this belicoso with one or two re-lights on the last 2 inches.

"Great Taste, Great Value"
What a fantastic smoke. Sweet enticing aroma, a wonderful mild flavor with a floral hint. Lit well, burned well with no wrapper problems. Overall a terrific cigar at a very fair price. I will definately buy these again

"Terrible Burn"
I bought some bundles during a great sale at Famous. Mild maduro that is not anything to be excited about. The burn is the worst of any cigar I have ever had. After two bundles, I have yet to find one single cigar that has not burn anywhere close to even. Canoing, tunneling, you name it, these things are continually needing a touch up. I have tried all the tricks to correct this with no luck. I have had other cigars from Nestor Plasencia that tend to have the same problem. I smoke cigars for enjoyment, whether you like the flavor or not, there is no enjoyment in trying to correct the burn of these sticks. Try something else.

"Not bad"
Fairly nice construction, the one I just smoked had a soft spot that caused a slight run which did correct itself. Good, not great, flavor. Light pepper, hints of woodiness and coffee. No bad aftertaste. Decent value.

"Bang for the Buck"
I bought these at aution and was not quite sure what to expect. On arrival I was surprised how consistant they appeared. The draw was good and the taste was much, much better than expected. A true bargain at $30 a bundle, or at aution for less than $20.

"Love 'em"
Man I love these. Coffee, cocoa, coconut, charred wood flavors. For a buck fifty! To the haters: you gotta let them rest a while. Famous sells A LOT of these, so pretty much any time you get them they are "fresh". Put them down for 6-8 months and revisit.

"nice flavor"
If you're not picky about an even burn, the Maduro has an easy draw and nice flavor. A good choice for those on a budget. But I prefer the Famous Dominican 4000 in this price range.
