"3 out of 4 ain't bad"
I received 4 of these in a sampler pack. 3 were enjoyable and quite delicious. The 4th nearly came apart in my hand by unraveling faster than I could smoke it. I would buy again but with caution.

"Interesting taste, not ideal draw"
Very strong taste. I like it. Ideal with cofee.
But draw is tight, it's not easy to smoke.

"Toro - Decent but unexciting"
Mild to medium stick, uneven burn, doesn't retain ashes well, nice draw, decent so-so flavors. Maybe with age it will get better. Good weekend work around the yard/car puffer.

"Strong but rich in complexity"
This is a full strength cigar (the traditional MAXX Torpedo), not my every day fare but it does have a place in my humidor. There is a lot going on flavor-wise when all those different tobaccos mix and meld together. Someone, somewhere said you need a really stiff drink like a gnarly old scotch to stand up to a MAXX. I think they are right. And another thing. Someone else said in their review that their MAXX was soggy and limp. Why would anyone want to smoke a wet cigar? Sometimes you get a box so fresh they haven't had time to recover from the rolling process. If they're a little damp and not ready to smoke, do yourself a favor and give 'em a couple of weeks rest before you fire one up.

"I've enjoyed everyone I've smoked"
I agree with the fellow from California. I don't know how the guy from N. Carolina could call these cigars "wet & limp" I've not only smoked the Maxx Traditionals, but also the Maxx "Curves". Alec Bradley has produced an ezquisite tasting, smelling, burning, and consistent cigar. TRY IT WITH 2 FINGERS OF B&B.
GREAT COMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!

"a classy, rich, generous and elegant cigar."
Very impressive. Have smoked virtually only Havanas for decades and am discovering the glories of Nicaraguan leaf in the hands of masters like Alec Bradley. While the burn is erratic (like many of the Cubans) it's a small price to pay for this so rich blend. Decadent!

"great tasting and smoking cigar."
I don't understand what mike from north carolina was smoking. I did not want to pay the price for a more exspensive cigar so the shop I went to recomended the maxx traditional and I bought five. Not only would I recomend this cigar over a very expensive cigar. I plan on buying many a box from famous smoke shop. I have only one store in the sacramento area that sells the traditional corona. Iplan on buying boxes from this cigar shop. I urge everyone who reads this to try this cigar asap. mabe mike got a bad cigar. reguards Ken from carmichael.

"One of the worst!"
These cigars were badly made. They are wet and green and as limp as a hand rolled cigarette.
