Screws Loosen Over Time  Any of the double guillotine cigar cutters that are fastened with screws(from various manufacturers, usually selling for $15-$20)end up with the screws loosening then falling out, usually within a few months after purchase. If you are or know someone with machinist tools and skills, the cutter can be screwed or riveted back together, and using epoxy will work too. Some retailers also warranty these type cutters for life; not sure if Famous does though.

cutter I recently purchased the Perdomo 54 Ring Gauge Cutter. Mine also has fallen apart. It must be a flaw in manufacturing.

my precious.... we likes it....
no more fumbling for match and cursing when they blow out for me... definately a kick-ass lighter, and a beautiful addition to anyone's set of accessories! highly recommended, not only for lighting your stogie, but also for those occasions when you may need to weld your muffler... ;)

IT CAME APART the nut cAme out they need to fix it better so it works ok it does not work good now, it need something to hold the cutter to together
