Excellent lighter. Very sturdy, holds a lot of fuel and lights reliably. Highly recommend!

I picked up one of these lighters when I misplaced my everyday lighter. It works very well, especially for the price. I use it regularly now, even more than my old lighter. Reliable, durable, and inexpensive, I'm glad I bought it.

Keeps the humidor as stated...70%. Excellent and cheaper substitute for the powered humidifiers. If only everything else would work as easily and well as this.

I am the satisfied owner of an Xicar cutter. Knowing of the quality there, I decided to go for the lighter. This thing looks like a throwback from the fifties or sixties and is absolutely built to last. Like an army tank. Engineering wise, I have found no weak link, all hinges are beefy, the action is smooth and it is certainly a torch..I love the little gas indicator window, which shows if you have juice in it. This has been my complaint with so many gas lighters, you never know if you filled the darn thing or not!! With this one.. you know!! I am not looking forward to the time when I unintentionally drop it on concrete, but the way this thing is made, I have a feeling that it won't hurt it, other than scratch it's really nicely done finish. The cigar punch which folds out from the bottom is very usable and works well, when I don't feel like bringing my cutter.. bottom line...spend the few extra $$$ and get yourself one of these!! worth it!

Works only part of the time. Sent it to be fixed once. Waste of money.

My Xikar cigar cutter separated into two irreconciliable pieces when I dropped it on the brick paver floor but when I mailed it to the company it came back almost immediately re assembled. I have been impressed with their quality and customer orientation (one lighter, one cutter, two knives and an entry in the winter smoke story contest

I was lucky I was able to get 1 cigar lit with this lighter, poor ignition, didnt work right the day I got it. My $12 el cheapo triple flame works better than this one did out of the box. Save yourself a headache and chose another lighter

Lighter won't stay lit, and goes out if you look at it cross-eyed or breathe near it. I've contacted Xikar and will be interested in how they respond. Maybe this lighter has a defect that can be repaired; we'll see.

Put one of these in my humidor and it works great keeping it right at 70%. So far distilled water is all i've used and it does the job nicely. No need for the special stuff which is probably just distilled water anyway.
