Acid Wafe

Alright so i just got my order in of an acid Sampler pack Got one last summer and one this summer and its usually enough for me. However this time around I wanted a lil more so i picked up a box of Wafes too. Saw em before and just thought they were some sort of gimmick but hey i'll give em a shot. So my order was delivered a lil while ago and i smoked one of the wafes.
WOO The taste was excellent i mouthed it for about ten minutes takign care of some things before i lit it up. Everything seemed good on it. I could see where some people would have construction issues but what i found with my first one was a superb flavor, excellent draw, and a pretty consistent burn. The aroma was very pleasing and i don't feel like i smell like i just smoked a cigar. I loved the thing and look forward to the other six to see how consistent they are.
great cigar.

Construction Issues

I've been a fan for these for a while, but the last two boxes I've had have been suffering from a peeling outer wrapper. My humidor is fine, and the Acid Roams that I have don't suffer from this. It has been just the Kuba Kubas, and the peeling can be pretty extensive.

Swisher Sweets are a better deal

I lit this cigar up on my deck and since it's not an overly cheap cigar i expected a lot more out of it than what it had to give. To me it tasted a lot like a swisher sweet with a better draw. The flavor was very sweet and the burn was very fast. This cigar's performance was way under par, and as for acid in general; i will not be smoking anything from this company anytime soon.

Wonderful Flavor/Poor Construction

I tried this cigar based solely on the high reviews and while the cigar shop owner knocked me for smoking "flavored" cigars, I really enjoyed this "flavor." It has a nice sweet taste and a mild draw. I had a nice taste in my mouth afterwards and my wife didn't mind the smell.
However, I only got to finish about 3/5 of the cigar because the wrapper literally fell off. The smoke was also very uneven and "canoed" almost the entire way through. I had to keep licking the tip to keep the wrapper on. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had in terms of wrap and smoke.
All in all, I'll chalk this particular smoke up to a "dud" and try it again. The flavor was really impressive and just thinking about it now makes my mouth water.

this has got to be one of the finest cigars made..

I have been smoking cigars for almost 20 years now, and I had never tried an ACID cigar before. I had always thought the packaging was too "flamboyant and showy" and probably would mean the cigars were poor quality if they had to market their cigars in such a way... Boy was I ever wrong. On advice from a friend ,I hesitantly bought an ACID Kuba Kuba recently from our local shop. I decided to wait until after dinner ,and after I was relaxed and had a clean palate to judge this cigar. I sparked this baby up and was amazingly surprised. Upon lighting this stick, I first noticed the even burn which is often hit or miss with different cigars. Next, as I took a decent draw I noticed the smooth even draw(which was actually a little too easy of a draw)which filled my mouth with the most unusual flavor. Hard to describe and do it justice... but here goes... at first I noticed a ever so slight hint of a citrusy-spice flavor. As i continued to smoke the flavor kind of changed and added a dank woodsy/earthy flavor. Like I have said, this description fails to do the cigar justice. As this was my first ACID stick I had tried I am buying some of the others and I hope I am pleasantly suprized as I was with the Kuba Kuba. I am interested in the Kuba Kuba deluxe and wonder if there is a difference between the two...
The ACID line By Drew Estates has hooked me with the Kuba Kuba, and probably will have several of the ACID line in my humi all the time.
In short... I will buy ACID Kuba Kuba again, and I recommend you do the same. If nothing else at least try them once... I doubt you will be dissapointed.

I prefer this

I was given a 1400cc as a gift to smoke with my boss. After work we lit up and I couldn't believe it. I have had Kuba Kuba before and even though this wrapper was lighter in shade, I figured I was in store for the same old thing. NOT. This cigar was sweet, spicy, rich, tasty, delicious all the way down to the last puff. If you have had the cold infusion tea then you will love this. It has the same characteristics without the hint of tea flavor. Just a well balanced infused cigar with a sweet cap on the end. BUY BUY BUY. Great stogie.

Great Smoke!!!

Drew Estate really hit the nail on the head with the Krush Classic series. A great short smoke filled with new flavors that never disappoint. I highly recommend this to anyone introducing someone to cigars for the first time. Almost any of the Acid cigars I think make a great starter cigar. Anyone who finds themselves in situations where a quick smoke is needed these come at a great price and never fail!

Larry = Great

This cigar is well rounded, it dang near has everything Id ever want in a cigar, I took this one out side in a nice chair and enjoyed it Here are some of the points#1) The draw was great, easy and the flavor of the cigar was of a true mellow cigar unlike most acids it is not sweet. It had a great smell as well #2) I think the mark of a well made cigar is how the ash sits, this cigar did not change in appearance even when their was 3 inches of ash at the end, the cigar was so well made it did not fall off and even out side in a light breeze it burned extremely even #3) It lasted for about four hours and it never went out that was outstanding. I do wish Acid had mixed a few of their sweet tobaccos in the middle if just not for a quick and mild surprise but that's my wish, and this is still a highly rated cigar in my opinion.

This cigar is.....

Honestly, my unbiased opinion is that this cigar is a glorified swisher sweet. The major difference is that these cost about $2.79 from this site, and a little more at my local shop. That's ballsy, DREW ESTATES. You'd have a better chance at blowing a pine tree through your sinuses and that would probably feel better. Why in the sweet name of all that is good, was this cigar even in a humidor?

I like Acid - Not this ming

Well, I take the time to write a review for each and every cigar I get my hands on. First let me say I love famous smoke shop its my only source for buying cigars. Now to the review

I'm very sorry to say I hated the taste of this cigar, it was no good it had a old tobacco taste to it and nothing other than that, I smoked it half way through because Acid likes to surprised you in the middle or end of a cigar with a new flavor, and I could not get past the middle before in disgust I cut it in half so I wouldn't be tempted to pick it up again and keep waiting for when it was going to get good. I've tyred a fair number of Acid cigars and I have yet to have remorse for lighting one up but this Ming is that bad. I like flavors and I like mellow standard cigars. lets face it we smoke a cigar for the taste and smell. This failed on both accounts, the draw was bad, but it did stay light up even when I had let it set for some time before picking up the guts to try another puff

Definitely has bite!

It's definitely a full bodied smoke in a small package. A lot of smoke from a little cigar too. I was impressed. Tip is sweet, but it will grab your tongue. Maybe a little to full bodied for me. But it's OK every once and a while.

A Mouthfull of Potpourri...

Not being a fan of flavored cigars, I was more than a bit apprehensive to try the Acid Kuba Kuba.
Buddy of mine was telling me time and time again that women love the aroma. So, last weekend I give one a try. I go to one of my favorite watering holes.
Well, my instincts were correct along with my buddy. Women did remark about the aroma. For me, I could only choke down about a quarter of the stick until I had to throw in the towel and give up. I almost lost my lunch and ended up heading for home early. Imagine that you stuff a big stinky wad of Potpourri in your mouth and let it marinate. The power of floral sweetness was tremendous and overpowering. After I got home, it took the better share of two hours to get the taste out of my mouth and off of my pallet rinsing my mouth out with gasoline. Well, not exactly but I did brush my mouth out six times and went through a half a bottle of listerine.
Some folks I'm sure will like the Acid Kuba Kuba, for me (a lover of full strength cigars) I had to wimp out and give up. Before you dive into an entire box, I would try one to see if you have got what it takes to handle this cigar.

Awesome Cigars

This sample pack comes in a great price. Take the sale price and divide that by the 14 cigars you get to try out - that's a good deal. The sample time includes a wide range of Acid cigars, all excellent cigars.

Tastes vary, some people like the sweet cigars, and some don't. Most of the cigars in the tin are sugar tipped, so when you wet the wrapper to cut or take your first puff you're going to get a blast of sweet. After that things smooth out and you get a nice smoke.

If you've never tried an acid cigar before I'd recommend against buying this pack. Go out to a store and smell the tobacco that's used as packing around the cigar. The rejected filler and cut ends are used as packing around the cigars. You can get a really good idea of what you'll be smoking from that. For your first cigar try an Atom Maduro or a Kuba Kuba - these are great cigars with a little more body. If you want something lighter, than go for a Cold Infusion Tea.

If you live in Wisconsin, Illinois, or Indiana check out a Drew Estates tasting at your local cigar shop, the rep for this area is the greatest!

Nasty is wonderful

I got this in the tin with another order, and I was really interested in trying it- it had good and bad feedback here. I'm happy to say I really liked it. It's mellow not over flavored and smooth. It's got a complex taste and unlike some of the other Acid flavors it wont flavor your mouth. Although I'm not a very experienced cigar smoker I give this highest possible ratings, I'm not sure what I like more this or the earthy cigar Acid makes.

Undecided

I really like the Acid line from Drew Estate. My favorite by far is Extra Ordinary Larry. I got this Nasty just because of the shape. I thought it looked fun. I lit it up and I wasn't really sure. The taste was okay. The red banded cigars are way different than some of the other lines like blue, yellow, purple... I couldn't finish it myself. Gave it to a friend. Maybe I didn't give it a fair shake or maybe I just should stick with Larry.

For those of you who don't send the unsmoked ones to me!! The Kuba Kuba is not a complement to scotch whisky - get yourself a Nicaraguan maduro for that; it is perfect with coffee and tea, however. Shaped, packaged, and flavored to stir your senses

I've been smoking cigars for a little over a year now, much more so in the past 6 months. I find that I enjoy a flavored cigar ONCE IN A WHILE, but not always. There's nothing like the natural flavors in a high quality tobacco, much like fine coffee or wine. I was given a Wafe 7 sample box, which only contained 2 of these. I lit it up at the Bellagio in Vegas while my wife was playing slots. Very spicy right away. It really got my attention. Smooth draw, stayed lit and held a decent ash for such a strange shape. The spice goes straight to the back of the throat, but the aroma is very enjoyable and the overall flavor is pleasant. I actually enjoyed the spicy kick as you don't get that with most cigars. I would recommend these to anyone curious or just wanting to mix it up on occasion. I'm sure the friends will be interested.

Great little sticks of flavor, good draw, excellent all around and a great deal. I've tried almost all cigarellos, acids hail on top for me.

Way Too Addictive!!!

Delicious and they don't stink up the house. Sweeet!

ACID CRUSH AIN'T THAT BAD.

Like others say"not bad" clovey though.GOTTA GET USE TO THEM AT FIRST.GOOD FOR ONCE A WEEK OR SO.

Disgusting...

Complete waste of money. Smells like rancid clove cigarettes out of the tin. The Maduro Morado made me feel like I was trying to suck a golfball through a hose. The Blue Connecticut was smokeable and had a pretty decent draw but still suffered from the overly perfumy smell that really did make me reminisce of the days at Grandma's house like others have stated (it's really no joke, I didn't believe it at first but now I do.)
One last gripe, the band on the cigarillos had a tendency to come off along with the wrapper! Methinks they were a bit overzealous with the glue...

Change of pace winner

Picked up a 5 pack of these out of curiosity after reading the wide range of opinions about ACID cigars. This is the first ACID cigar I have ever tried and was pleasantly surprise with it. The appearance and construction is very good, with a nice draw and even burn. I smoked one the evening I received them and another the next afternoon. They have a nice smooth draw and light sweet taste which was a pleasant switch from my normal favorites. Because of the sweet taste I can see why some people may not like them. Great tobacco ruined by sugar & perfume

The construction of the cigar was very good. The roll was not too tight, nor too loose. I was very excited about my upcoming smoke. As I pulled the cigar out of it's plastic sleeve I was overpowered. Not with the smell of tobacco, but instead with a smell more like the perfume a stripper would wear. Regardless, I tried to put the smell aside and enjoy the cigar.
I brought the cigar to my mouth expecting to taste the wonderful variety of tobaccos used for this cigar. Instead, I felt like I was putting my lips around a lollipop. It tasted like my lips were coated in sugar.
The cigar did pull very nicely and the construction was very good. I forced myself to smoke it and could actually taste that the tabacco was very good, but the perfume and sugar taste never went away. I was able to force down about 3/4 of the cigar before I began feeling sick from the smell.
I gave one to my brother and one to my brother-in-law, they were only able to finish 1/4 of the cigar each. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the cigar and confused as to why everyone ranks the cigar high.

Just try one

I am by no means an expert. I lean more towards being a booze snob. Nonetheless I really enjoy a good cigar, Padron, Rocky Patel, Carlos Torano, are some of my go-to cigars, so I was reluctant to try one of these odd-shaped, incense smelling sticks. I lit this thing up while watching my dogs run around outside and I just stood there in awe of this little weird cigar. It tasted pretty good, and gave off an extraordinary amount of smoke. About a minute into the cigar I involuntarily stuck it between my teeth, chewing on it, something I NEVER do. I just enjoyed smoking it, not thinking about taste or balance, gnawing on the end like Clint in a western. There will always be a place in my black little heart for a 1964 Padron and a glass of scotch in my life, but the Nasty just drops all of the ritual and
pretense and offers a unique smoke for little cash.

Cigars for people who don't like cigars. If you snuck out of the house on late summer nights to smoke clove cigarettes at the park with your junior high pals, look no further. The wrappers are completely soaked in flavoring that makes it unbearable. The ONLY one I could see myself having again is appropriately named "Nasty". Sweet Smooth Savory Confort

I got an Acid Atom Maduro Single from the sampler pack I won at auction and am smoking it now. It tastes very similar to the Acid One cigar only with a slightly sweeter draw. This cigar is pure delight to smoke, and would be a good one after dinner with a glass of good port. The Maduro wrapper imparts some spicyness into the mix and combined with the mellow draw that reminds me faintly of honey and bananas, finishes with an exquisite taste on the palate. The smoke from the burn imparts a sweet, almost fruity aroma into the ambient air. This cigar is dessert and should be savored.

Champaigne of Acid Cigars

I am sitting at my desk in my home office working and decided to take a cigar break. I received 2 Acid Samplers I won in an auction today and decided to try the Kuba Kuba. I began smoking this cigar (I am smoking it now) and my first thought was, "This may be the best tasting cigar I have ever tasted." Velvety smooth with sweet vanilla tones fill my mouth and roll around my tongue, nosing the smoke as it drifts out. I am in cigar heaven! All I want to do is sit back and enjoy this cigar - every draw. Not a hint of bitterness on the tongue nor bite at the back of the throat - a mesmorizing experience. I am going to order a box of these right now!

Sweet Herbal Delight

I had mixed feelings about the taste of this Acid at first but after a few I have grown to count the Cold Infusion Tea as a must item in my humidor inventory. All Acids are infused with various herbs and spices, more or less, and I do not care for those whose infusion mask the taste of the tobacco. The Tea is a perfect balance between the two and is really an enjoyable smoke. This is one of those cigars where you stop for a moment with the smoke swirling around your tongue like a fine wine and say to yourself, "Man! This is a good cigar!"

Mature Blondie

Until I smoked the One, the Blondie was my favorite Acid cigar. Now I have 2 favorites. The One is a sweet and mellow smoke like the Blondie, but there is more tobacco flavor and a longer burn. The one thing that I cannot abide in a cigar is a bitter aftertaste and the One had none. I litterally smoked this blunt down to where I could have used roach clips to hold it. A magnificent, soothing, laid-back smoke!
