"Fantastic Start To Finish"

Excellent smoke..would be great in 60

Its a Fuente, need to say more...the only way to make this stick better is to up the ring gauge to a size 60

The Fuente Of Choice?

The regular 2xChateau is a good smoke indeed, but this is even better. The Sungrown 2xChateau is my choice of all the Fuentes...Including OpusX! Try this one it is hard to fault.

Great Taste

This is my new favorite stogie! From the begining to the end I am in heaven with its easy draw to its fine taste and perfect burn. I recommend this cigar to anyone!

My Favorite

The A. Fuente Cuban Belicoso lacks a little bit when it comes to an even burn but it is absolutely the best tasting smoke I've ever experienced and has a great aroma. After about three boxes, I would say it's my "Numero Uno"!

Awesome smoke

Well worth the wait.

hard to get a hold of, im on my second box
i cant say enough about these sticks, smooth
yet strong, easy draw, short medium spicey
after taste, flawless construction. i will pick
these over cohibas.

Fantastic AROMATIC Cigar>>>

I've tried other upscale cigars for much more money, but NONE compares to this stogie! Especially, for the price of this cigar. I love the aroma of various tones it releases along with the quality and taste that becomes very addicting to this smoke. I cannot wait til the supply comes in to re-stock my humidor with this model smoke and only this smoke!

Great Cigar

Absolute wonderful smoke. As with all Fuentes cigars, each cigar is very well constructed and consistent. One of the best I've had, at any price.

Fantastic

This is the fourth cigar that I smoked and one was better than the other. It's a medium smoke with a lot of flavor. They burn great and don't go out. It's just a great cigar for the money.

Nice!!

Arturo Fuente cigars are pure works of art. I open my humidor to pick a smoke, I see my Fuentes on one side and pick something else, becuase I don't want to dwindle my supply. Not to mention they are excellent when aged. The double chateau sun grown are wonderful aromatic and spicy, full bodied, but never harsh on the palate. I savored one for almost two hours one Sunday afternoon. I never fogot that smoke and always keep them in my humidor.

POS

I can see why people get excited about the taste, but the one I tried had a terrible burn. So uneven I had to throw it away 1/2 through. For the money, Hoyo's are just as good and better constructed.

damn!

this stick is just good!, just when you think you've had some really good fuente's, you try another and it's even better, this cigar broke into my top 5

A real "Beauty" in Looks, Packaging and Taste!

A smooth mellow smoke from start to the end when I finally had to give it up to avoid "Finger Burn"! This one will always be at the top of my "Wish List".

Fuente Natural Sun Grown

This is the end of my third box over the last two years. But,I want more, more pure sun grown taste. Complex, with strong sweet earthy tones. The aroma is not all cedar nose, but you can FEEL all the natural sun grown tobacoo on the pallet,, then it evolves into the sky and then, smooth rich soil, yet pleasing. The burn is even and the draw moderately easy, with a long light gray ash,,,
Then,,, its all gone and then I wait unti I can smoke another or when the time is right.

2006 and All is well

It had been a while since I smoked these. On a whim, I ordered a box from Famous. Welcome back old friend. They are still marvellous. Excellent construction, draw, appearance and taste. All this at an unbelieveable price point (especially if you buy them here). Catch'em when you can; better yet leave'm for me....

NICE !

Im new to the pleasures of smoking fine cigars but after trying 15 to 20 different likes, this is my favorite so far. great smooth flavor with a woody taste and slight herbal under tones , nice long even burn . I now understand what it is to enjoy a fine cigar .

Give them time

With growing experience comes...wisdom? In any case give the sungrown lots of time in the humidor. This cannot be overstated for the cuban belicoso, a regular for me that by availability does not appear to be others'. Give them at least four months and then they will reward.

great cigar

I brought some and just couldnt put them down until I was done with it.Great taste, good draw and burns well with a long ash.I will be buying some soon when they more in stock.

PERFECT!!

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST PERFECT CIGARS THAT I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF SMOKING. HATS OFF TO FUENTE!! BETTER THAN OPUS AND HEMINGWAY!! SWEET AND SMOOTH WITH PERFECT BURN AND DRAW. IT IS ALSO BETTER THAN MOST REAL CUBANS I HAVE SMOKED. UNBELIEVABLE PRICE FOR THE QUALITY YOU GET. TOO BAD FAMOUS WILL ONLY LET YOU BUY ONE BOX AT A TIME!

My ALL time favorite smoke!!!!

Best smoke around. Nice even burn, firm ash.Great tasting, full of flavor. 10+

the best cigar for the masses

This cigar is so good, if you can find more than one box anywhere, I suggest you grab it immediately.

Great taste,good draw,quality construction,and dec

The only concern I have about my favorite smoke,Royal Salute Sun Grown,is that they are not the advertised 54 ring gauge. Why? The taste ,burn, and construction are all first rate!

Blackhorse SEZ: One of the Greats!

Those Double Chateaus are good alright, but not as good as these. I think the Chateau's higher rating is a function of those boys just never having tried a Royal Salute - or they would surely go back and correct their scores (if such a thing were possible). Like the Excalibur No. 1 Maduro and the Prensado (Oscuro)...the Fuente Hemingway Classic...the Punch Chatteau "L" Oscuro...the Torano Tribute, Silver, Gold, Signature, (well, pretty much all the Toranos!!!...the Royal Salute exists in a rarified class...world class!

Quality and consistency and . . .

. . . the perfect companion for walking 9 holes with your bag over your shoulder. Great off the tee, consistent from the fairway, sticks with wedges, and putts beautifully. A par smoke every time. Just as good at the end of the round from the deck looking back on the round with a friend.

One of the best cigars for any price.

A great cigar, truly flavorful , and a pleasure to smoke any time. Kudos to my friends Steve Poster and the late Morty Grossman for turning me on to this fine stick

A perfectly made cigar.

I just bought a box after sampling a few Fuente Sun Growns at a local shop and was really looking forward to those beautiful aromatic, caramel colored wrappers glistening with oils. What happened to those wrappers ? The cigars arrived with what looks and tastes like th same dark ECSG wrappers that come on dozens of the fuller cigars now on the market. I'm dissappointed but I'm a sucker for a perfectly made cigar so I'm keeping them anyway. Still a real good cigar but completely different smoke.

Just tried my first box of the Sun Grown, have been a Salute/Maduro man for years. I'm hooked. Just ordered two more boxes. This has a good flavor and an easy draw.

literally a work of art

This cigar is truly a masterpiese in all aspects of cigar making, Arturo is certainly the Leonardo D'avinci of the tobacco industry
a true antropreneaur, the quality is superb, and the price outstanding for such a great smoke, and if you like a full body cigar, there's none better
along with the Ashton VSG another Fuente jewel.
Mr. Fuente, my compliments on your magnificent work.

My favorite cigar!

Okay ... ever since the first day I had this cigar it became my all time favorite! I mean this thing tastes better than any cigar that tastes twice as much (but glad they don't charge twice as much ;-)) It has an absolute gorgeous wrapper ... darker than a conneticut, but lighter than a maduro ... makes the mouth salivate just looking at it! I have two boxes sitting in my humidor as I write this ... ordered one from this web site, picked up another at a local shop ... hard to find so i buy them in quantity when i find them.

A masterpiece!

This is truly one of the best,FULL cigars i've had
The beautiful wrapper alone makes the pallet water
before the flame arrives!!
Constuction,draw,ash,all impecible!5*****

Best luxury smoke for the price

I smoke Excalibur #1...actually the Honduran Bundle 2nds as my every day (can't beat the quality and value)....but one of my favorite "occasion" butts is the Fuente Sun-grown (any model, but the Double shat & Royal salute are the size I prefer).
Full flavor Fuente quality all the way, every way as good as there Hemmingways and Opus X at a grat price.

A Masterpiece

This cigar is so great, it's a masterpiece. From the solid construction, the cedar wrapper, the draw and the rich, strong taste. It will forever be my favorite cigar.

Big on Flavor, Easy on the Wallet

This is one of my goto cigars. it's a big spicy cigar not for the newbie. It has full body with lots of flavor. One of my favorite Fuente smokes

Quality for the money with flavor to go around

Fuente always makes a quality product for the money. The sun grown wrapper is awesome. The taste, like spicy coffee. Great evening cigar. Take your time and enjoy it.
