Dont waste your money, no taste, harsh.

I buy a bundle of these every summer for an everyday smoke. This year they changed. Smoked a couple, terrible. Decided to age in humidor for a couple of months, no change. No taste, harsh. Dont waste your money

not for me ..

These cigars made me sick .. thought I would build up a resistance after smoking a few, but that has not happened. Waste of money buying the 25 pack. Live and learn, I guess.

Give em some time

First few I smoked were a little too harsh, for my liking, but after a few months in my humidor, these were very nice. The more spicy undertones take over about midway through and last all the way too the end. Not the greatest cigar I've ever had, but for the price these are tough to beat.

Too bland

I like mild to medium cigars, and this one was bland even for my taste.

Good daily smoke

Very good bargain smoke. Well constructed and for the money you can afford to give these to your golfing buddies without going broke.

Not the same as they used to be

These used to be box pressed with more attractive wrappers. Also, the blend is different. A little milder, very sweet flavor with a bit of spice in the nose. Not bad!

Useful Golf Course Cigar

Variable is the best description. Some draw well - others are full of knots. If you have a Havana Draw Enhancer they are all smokable. Burn is variable. Taste & Aroma are OKay. At under a 75 cents a stick they will suffice.

What happened?

About two years ago I got a box of Aspira Presidentes. They had a hard draw but as for the rest, I liked them. Nice flavor, good construction. But then Famous discontinued them. Now they have them again and not as boxes but as bundles, what happened???? I got a bundle thinking "the same name as before, must be the same cigar as before"......wrong! Flavor is dry and weak. They side burn like crazy and it is a chore to just to keep them lit and burning somewhat straight. The draw is still tight. I'm still wondering "what happened?"

64 Cent Gem

Call me cheap, but I despise paying full price for any cigar. I have found myself participating in several auctions to secure some good deals. Recently, I just won a bundle of 25 Aspira Torpedoes for just $16. Normally, these smokes retail for $97 for the lot. They are well constructed with Honduran and Nicaraguan long fillers. They are finished with a red-hued Habana 2000 wrapper. They measure 6.5 x 54. They have an easy draw, even burn and a great taste. Most of all, they leave little after taste. For just $0.64, these make a good choice for a daily smoke. MonkeyDan Rating: 84
