Great tasting cigars, good low price

I picked up a pack of these on a whim, and contrary to what I was expecting, they are very mild and they smell terrific. The taste is probably the sweetest and most enjoyable from a cigar that I've had, including cigars ten times as expensive. Best of all, the aftertaste is good instead of bitter and gross. Get some.

Clint 'gars; Great for poker night

Easy to go one after the other and fill your room with smoke.

don't waste your time

I rate backwoods a d-

Change of taste of these

What have they done to these cigars?? After years of smoking Backwoods cigars Ive found the quality to have gone WAY down hill! Torn outer leaf wrapper, wound tighter then a #2 pencil causing poor if any smoke draw and now a new dipped end flavor that I compare to a bitter sour lemon and burn like a tar ball!! This new taste is a blunder made years ago with "New Coke". More marketing genius' needed in the world today......

Just Say No

These are just bad, I have been looking for a cigar to chew on, these are the worst I have had. I have been using dutch masters which arent great but they work. I have been looking for something cheap to light up as well from time to time these wont cut it. They smell sweet and sugary which is fine, and thats where every thing else starts to fail. They fall apart in your mouth, the smoke is tasteless. I mean you dont even get the satisfaction of a awful taste. They just smoke. I think I will bite the bullet and buy some flor de olivas

Honey Backwoods are delicious ,fresh and sexy!

These little earthy cigars are delicious and so sweet-smelling that everyone asks what I'm smoking and sometimes I run out quickly when I give so many away! They are mild and I can inhale them. I'm so pleased that my friend introduced me to Backwoods.. I can't wait to try the other flavors and they are easy to find in most tobacco shops and groceries!

Smooth & Sweet

While camping last fall with a neighbor he introduced me to Backwoods "Honey Berry" cigars.
I didn't catch any fish that weekend but I did get hooked on these cigars. Mild flavor with a sweet aftertaste. A shot of Yukon Jack and a Backwoods and your evening will be tranquil.
Even my wife likes the aroma. What more can I say... Go Phillies!

giving up!

So I've been searching for a cigar that would give me that pipe like aroma and taste. I opened this package and was so excited!! I though that my search was over, these smell just like pipe tobacco! I'd liken it to captain black. But when you light it up the taste is the same as all tobacco I guess burnt plant smoke. It taste like your sucking on a campfire. But before you light it, it smells like heaven.

Backwood Smokes Wild Rum Cigars

I am a pipe smoker who LOVES the alternative cigar every once in a while. Backwood Smokes Wild Rum Cigars taste great and have a milder aroma than most cigars. They taste like a pipe tobacco cigar - mild and flavorful

Ugly but mild

These are some of the ugliest cigars, and not visually appealing enough for me to buy more. Aroma is nothing spectacular. However, they are mild, and on the low end of the bitterness scale.

A nice smoke for something so inexpensive

I first picked these up as something to smoke while out fishing. More to keep the bugs away, but I was really suprised by the taste. They are a good break from the premiums when you are not into a serious smoking mood. One benefit is that those who don't appreciate good cigar smoke in the room do seem to like the aroma of this product.
Buy a pack just for a change of pace and you will be pleasantly suprised.

Black 'N Cheap

I thought that you could get a good cigar for less than .75$ apiece but I was wrong, I picked up a pack of these and found that they're not that good for the price, your better off buying a premium cigarillo, they last longer than these and taste better. These cigars are short and the only sweet is the nasty sweetner that they infuse onto the wrapper, so they're not really 100% all natural, and now they're made in the Dominican Republic which should mean better taste, but if they didn't have that nasty sweetener they might be smokable. I'd recomend a cigarillo instead, such as La Gloria Cubana they're 1.00$ apiece if you buy a tin and .75$ apiece if you buy 10 tins, they last longer and taste a whole lot better.

great stuff! BW Honey Berry is a real nice smoke!

Honey Berry is a solid 9.5 out of 10....
If you like a nice flavored cigar, look no further! I've tried $5-$8 (single) flavored cigars and keep going back to the Backwoods.
If you like flavor and harmony, look no further!

My favorite...

It's funny because when I first saw Backwoods darks, I thought it was a pouch of chewing tobacco! Glad I tried them. Not many people seem to know about them. There really is nothing like them. Swisher Sweets has a similar cigar they call "Outlaws", but Backwoods is still better. The only criticism is the draw, which I had difficulty with, in 3 out of 5 cigars. Try these though, if you want a terrific tasting cigar! SW

Absolutly the best cigar I´ve ever had.

Absolutly the most unusual, but best, cigar I´ve ever had. Gave a couple to freinds in Denmark, who loved them. Where can I buy these in Denmark, as travelling to the US is great, but expensive just for cigars.
