A Magical Robusto

The CAO Bella Vanilla is the most magical cigar I have tasted. What I mean by that is that it changes flavor throughout the smoke. Now I know that its not good to have no consistancy but this cigar pulls it of well enough. First you get a very smooth sweet vanilla taste then you get a very spicy bold taste and then you can taste all the flavors put into the cigar. Its a wonderfull smoke and I recommend it over any other vanilla flavored cigar.

Amazing Cigar with a sweet and spicy burning taste

I am pretty new to cigars but this is my first CAO and i love it. I bought the 6 cigar sampler and this is my favorite flavor. With a sweet taste of citrus its got a great spicy burn but still very smooth. Id recommend this cigar to any level of smoker. The robusto shape makes for a perfect size relaxing smoke.

Delicious and Delightful Aroma

This cigar was given to 10 Coaches Wives as They enjoyed the cigar with a white wine. They raved over the delicious taste and called it the most delightful cigar experience ever. All 10 wanted another Moontrance and were loaded with curious questions. Several described it as feeling like royalty. Best cigar They've ever tasted, ever. only had 10 moontrance corona's, no replacements, once they were gone, they were missed and appreciated. Definitely worth trying this cigar, 10 southern football coaches Wives loved the cigar experience, Some claiming it to be the best ever. All 10 Ladies loved the aroma of the Moontrance. In one word, Delightful!

Favorite flavored to date, but lacking consistency

Was not very happy with the last serving of the 5/10 Moontrance. While I realize there is no way to get the flavor an exact match through each and every cigar, I've noticed a very short range of weak to overpowering in the flavoring recently. Had I not needed these so badly I would have sent them back. Also had a few too tight and too dry. Disappointing.

Great cigar for after dinner.

I like having this cigar because of all the great flavors in it. I searched for quite awhile finding a cigar that I could smoke during any occasion and this is perfect. I recommend everyone to try at least a sampler pack to prove it to themselves. I enjoy one after dinner with a white russian.

Eileen's Dream? More Like NIGHTMARE!

I really tried to like these cigars. I actually enjoy the moon-trance. This cigar though, is awful! I agree with Jared, these things were like smoking a big fat cigarette. I'll stick to smoking my sancho panza double maduros from now on. Eileen's Dream is a waking nightmare!

Great cigar with a great aroma!! I am not a big "flavored cigar" smoker, but I am a fan of the CAO flavors!! This cigar, as well as the Moontrace are among my favorite "early afternoon" smokes. Highly recommend you trying some!!

Nice

Truly a nice flavored corona! Very nice burn and great aroma. One of the ones I had was plugged and frustrated the hell out of me. But thats the way it goes sometimes!! All of the ones I have sampled, other than the plugged one, was fantastic. Highly suggest trying a few!!

WOW!

WOW! The Moontrance Tubos are great! I usually do not like flavored cigars, but these babies are awesome! My wife loves the smell. I have shared several with friends and they all agree that these little cigars taste and smell just like a pina colada. I love them!

Best little flavored cigarillo!

The Moontrance Cigarillo has something that is unique in its flavor verses size....I can smoke other sizes of Moontrance and I do not find that same uniqueness. Everyone that I have turned on to this little stick is hooked...escpecially the girls :)

If you like the smell of pipe tobacco

This is a great tasting, sweet cigar. The aroma is similar to a high quality pipe tobacco. I am a frequent smoker of medium body cigars but every once and a while I want to take a break with a flavored cigar. I have tried a wide range of flavored smokes and unlike many other flavored cigars, this one is made with premium quality tobacco by a company known for great cigars. Its no surprise that these babies are sometimes hard to come by. The CAO Moontrance has a great aroma that many of my lady friends and non smoking friends actually enjoy!

Best flavored cigar out there!

EXCELLENT flavor. The flavor ingredients blend perfectly with the mild tobacco without actually taking away from it. Wonderful taste and smoke with the aroma of all listed flavors coming through, although the vanilla seems to be the most predominate (to me anyway). Nice wrapper, to boot! And best of all, Famous Smoke has the absolute best price on the 'Net. I've shopped all the big name sites and FS is the cheapest.

Great taste and aroma.

An interesting cigar. The aroma and taste of the moontrance torpedo is truly unique and exceptional...I can even enjoy them in the house with my wife as the aroma is so subtle and enjoyable. I found the cigar to be lacking in the burn and construction areas as the burn is uneven, the wrapper seems to break apart easily and the cigar is very soft to the touch. I enjoyed the Famous sampler of CAO flavored cigars and liked the taste/smell etc of the Earth Nectar best...the EN should be sold in the torpedo size as well as the Moontrance.

Will purchase again and again

Very good constuction and good taste. The taste of vanilla is not overpowering and adds to the creamy taste and aroma. Even burn and nice ash. Although the wrapper is very 'girly' with a ribbon on the end, this is a cigar that I will smoke again and again.

Eden's Preferred Smoke before the Fall!

This was the preferred smoke in the Garden of Eden before the fall! I have tried many of the flavored cigars and believe this to be head and shoulders above the rest. One can smoke multi-extract flavors, but some are really cheezy tasting and leave a confusing thought after the smoke is done. Awesome, and pretty inexpensive

The benefits of this flavored cigar is not only a great, smooth, mild taste, but it has a fantastic aroma. Even the most finicky non-smoker will not complain about the smell of this beauty. The cigar is phenominal, but the way it is received by others is a treat as well. They are my favorite by far!!!!

I guess it wasn't the worst I've ever had

To be honest, I enjoyed very little about this cigar. I generally like flavored cigars, and will even smoke a black and mild if there's nothing else around, but I do have a bit of griping to do about this one. I picked one up at my local liquor store, which stocks several varieties of inexpensive and premium cigars in a cabinet humidor. I lit it up and noted that the only thing that I liked about it was the pleasant draw. The taste was a bit flat and nondescript. The burn was too hot and fast and made the cigar unpleasantly spicy. As a smaller complaint, as I was cutting the cigar, gingerly using a punch, the wrapper split a bit. Not a big issue but it still weighed on me. I liken the entire experience to lighting up and smoking a sugar cookie. However, for the less discerning palatte or a person who really likes flavored cigars, there is much worse out there.

One for the ladies, flavorful and mild

I bought these cigarillos specifically to offer to women. A very good choice. Eileen's Dream looks nice, holds and burns well, the flavors are subtle yet definite, it is quite mild, but a smoke for sure, oh, and women like it (but I might sneak another myself if no one is looking).

coconut?

Mild dreamy aroma on tin opening. Is that a hint of coconut I detect? Hard to be sure, but aroma is not bad, and taste fairly balanced. I like this better than Earth Nectar, Eileen's Dream and Gold Honey, and less than Karma Sutra.

There was some mild nice aroma on opening the tin, but the cigar itself did not have that strong of an aroma. Taste was also a little flat / mild, and moderate bitterness.

not my fave

I tend to prefer the milder and less bitter cigars, and this one was a little more bitter than I prefer, but still not a bad cigar. The flavors of this one were a little muted compared with some other CAO flavors, and a strange mix that I would certainly not dream up on my own.

wow. I think these are a keeper

A delightful aroma comes to your nose when you first open the tin. Cigars should not smell this 'yummy'. Taste was not too bitter, and well balanced.

Best of the CAO Flavours

I've tried all of the CAO Flavours and Moontrance is by far the best smoke. Good burn, Great draw, Tremendous taste! I have received numerous compliments on the aroma these sticks give off. If you think you'll enjoy a flavored cigar...THIS IS THE ONE TO TRY! Get ahold of one to try it, then you'll want a box!

Top Quality Cigarillo

I'm a big fan of the CAO line of flavored cigars, but Moontrance is my baby. I buy the torpedoes, which is cheaper at Famous Smoke, than anywhere else. It's unsual that a cigarillo maintains the same full flavor as the bigger stick. You can't get any closer with this little cigar. Lots of flavor in a 13 minute smoke.

Packed with flavor

Upon opening the tube, the first scent you pick up is that of intense coconut with subtle overtones of vanilla, a unique and very pleasing combination. This is a rich, sweet cigar that is a perfect match to a good strong coffee. Easy draw, even burn, and consistent flavor throughout. The tubos are just a bit small and the smoke is over prematurely so I'd recommend a larger size than the tubo to really savor the experience.

A very smooth and tasty treat

I've only been smoking cigars for a few months, but I wanted something I could take to work and not dedicate an hour to. Upon opening the tin, there was just a subtle hint of sweet orange blossom honey. The honey taste seems restricted to the lipped portion of the wrapper and not the burn. Very mellow, very tasty and smokable with an even burn even in windy outdoor conditions. I'll include a tin of these with every order now!

Great little dessert smoke

Bought a tin of these to sample CAO small cigars. A nice medley of flavors. A nicely constructed stick, that burns evenly. This one was smoked right out of tin. Will see how they are after setting with some other flavored sticks, I keep around for the not so brave ones. Overall a nice little stick to enjoy with a good dark.

tasty, lunchtime cigar

I have been a fan of infused cigars since my first mayorga coffee infused cigar, also a great cigar, these cao's are just as described. all flavors are detectable but not overpowering. also it is a great looking cigar, nice wrapper,feels a little loose at first, but burns perfect. if you are a "infused" cigar fan,pick your favorite flavored CAO, you can't go wrong.

CAO DOES IT AGAIN !!!

I purchased these to hand out for "dessert" at my sister's wedding a couple of years ago. I already knew that these sticks were fantastic. I made many new CAO fans that night. I had people begging me for more after a few of us lit up. A huge success !!! Even the bridemaids loved 'em. A REAL CROWD PLEASER!!!! The depth of flavor is incredible. A must try !!

Ciao Bella !!!

This is a "heavenly" flovered cigar. Better than most of its' competitors in the flavored arena. I discovered this beauty while sitting in the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. I was with the "usual suspects". The group had retired to the bar on the main concourse for "dessert". I handed out these beauties and we paired them with vanilla martinis. That was a fantastic "gentleman's dessert" if I do say so myself.

A great tasting little cigar

I purchased a box at auction. Hadn't tried many flavored cigars, thought I'd give it a try. I was impressed. Great looking cigar, excellent construction and good flavor. Before dinner, after dinner, even on the golf course....a great little cigar. You won't be disappointed.

Different

This a flavoured cigar with class,no cheap flavours added here.Its not a cigar to smoke everyday if you're a cigar smoker but its a well made flavoured cigar for a change of pace.

A terrific little cigar!

The "Earth Nectar" has become my favorite cigar -- the flavor is subtle, just enough to make for a very smooth smoke. And the aroma is very nice.

Terrible, they are like smoking a fat cigarette

I tried the karamsutra splash and I was disgusted. It tasted like i was smoking a fat cigarette. There is no flavor whatsoever. I regret buying them. Bottom line...dont get them.

Great flavored cigar in Moontrance Tubo

Wow, what a surprise! I bought these to try something different (flavored cigar) and loved them. Great for a quick smoke. Great taste, great aroma, great smoke. Like I said, surprisingly GREAT! Goes over well with new or occassional smokers, too.

c.a.o moontrance petit corona

A real treat!!!!

For those of you who love flavored cigars... This is the one and only one you need in your humidor! I enjoy both flavored an non-flavored cigars and i have also noticed that most flavored cigars are second hand roll ups. CAO's moontrance is a flavored super premium. It smokes like a dream! Taste is actually fantastic, ladies like the aroma

When I opened the tin, the smell of fruit and vanilla was very strong & I thought the cigar might be overpowered with flavor, but once lit the cigar is perfect in taste and really an enjoyable little smoke!

Great cigar

In 1941, I smoked a cigar called La Insular which was made in the Philippines. It was a great cigar. All these years I've searched for a cigar with similar taste and quality. I found it in CAO Millenium. For 60 years I smoked various cigars and there are only a few I can call great, including Cuban cigars. Perhaps I have a different taste buds, but I can't understand the 5 ratings. I gave it a 10.
