Fantastic smooth, full smoke!

Love this cigar! I have found a great full bodied and smooth smoke here.

finest I have had yet

I have been smoking for the last 6 years trying a new one every month or so. this is the finest I have had short of the Opus X.

gonna have to try it again

I'm a huge CAO fan (Italia, Maduro Gold), but every once in a while I'll get one with a hard draw. This was the case with this particular Gol. Great flavor but the hard draw seemed to make a bitter final third. I have two more to try so we'll see...hopefully it'll be right on par with the rest of these great reviews.

Pure CAO Heaven

CAO has managed to create "Heaven" in a box! This cigar is flawless, burns perfect, draws perfect, and the flavor is out of this world! This is always a staple in my humidor and should be in yours if you like a cigar that you can trully relax to.

Great smoke and flavor

This is one of my new favorites!

These are great. Simple as that.

What else can you say? Hearty, creamy full flavor. Thick smoke & solid ash. Pre-light scent of earthiness. Great draw & great aroma. You cannot go wrong with a box of these.

And the winner is.....

I am looking forward to watching a cage match between the Criollo & Brazilia to determine which I like better. The Brazilia looks great, smells great, smokes great! Though you do need a longer time to smoke this fine cigar, you will go out of your way to make the time to do so.

Good Cigar

Overall I really like this cigar. I have had difficulty on a couple of them with drawing, but I can usually get over that with the slight assistance of a golf tee.

BAM!

This and the Lambada are 2 of my all time favorites. Smooth but rich Chocolate, Coffee flavors - just a touch of sweetness. Its addicting. Draw slow and steady on these to keep an even burn. Wrapper can peal towards the end if you huff and puff. Overall though - an extremely satisfying smoke.

Great smoke

As a lover of many CAO brands, this is my favorite cigar of my favorite brand. I like a CAO Gold in the morning, Cameroon at lunch and A Brazilia in the evening. For a quick smoke go with the Piranah...But, if you have time to enjoy a remarkable stogie, please try the GOL

Right on baby!! best out there for the moola

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses

One of the Best

I bought a box of these on auction and boy am I glad I did. This is one of the absolute best full flavored cigars I have tasted. I smoked one right of out of the box with no humidor aging and wow... I can't believe how good. I wish I had bought two boxes.

Holy CAO

My first CAO experience was, simply put, a rite of passage into the blissful world of fine cigar!

On par with Opus X

Was burning a Opus X every day until one of my friend turned me on to the Brazilia Box-Press. Since then I've received two boxes and and have not had a bad one yet! The burn is perfect and if you want a "Thick N Chewy" stik with a lot of flavor the Brazilia is for you. You can't say enough about this stik.. Great price too, under 6 bucks a stik everywhere.

Enjoyable Smoke...

While this is an enjoyable smoke with notes of light leather I was expecting more from this full bodied cigar. Not to say that it was not a smooth smoke with an even burn and it held its ash very well , I was expecting something else. I will have to give it another shot and this time try it with some Remy Martin VSOP, my drink of choice. The cigar mellowed somewhat about half way through and was enjoyable. 6.5/10

Shrugging my Shoulders

I had this sitting in my humidor for a few months, and decided that a Sunday evening would be the perfect time to enjoy this cigar. Very well constructed, but the burn was forever sloppy. As for the taste, it didn't have any bad flavors, but it left me shrugging my shoulders. Nothing complex, nothing fascinating, and nothing that would make me run out and buy a box. This was strange to me, as the aroma was top notch. I will certainly give this cigar another chance. This was the second CAO that I was less than thrilled with; odd as they make some of my all time favorite cigars.

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Samba by Brian of Kentucky on November 20, 2007

Excellent smoke!

What a full body cigar should taste like! This is one of my favorite smokes. It burns well, plenty of smoke, and flavor. This is my favorite out of all of the CAO's. The Italia is good too, but the Brazilia has the best flavor. It's good all the way down to the nub, don't burn your fingers. For the full body aficionado, you will enjoy this cigar.

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Amazon by SR of CA on October 15, 2007

As good as any I've smoked

My reason for writing this review is to help you find your favorite smoke. The CAO Brazilia Ipanema is mine. I have been smoking for 20+ years. I have found a few good ones. This one, in my opinion, is better than the Carlos Torano Churchill 1916 Cameroon, the Rocky Patel Sun Grown, and the Astral Talanga Valley Selection.

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Gol 5 Pack by ALEX of HOUSTON on August 28, 2007

Very disappointing

Nice appearance, average to good construction, fair burn, too tight draw, absolutely no taste (well, not true, tastes like floor sweepings), save your money-not worth the effort.

CAO BRAZILIA AMAZON~AMAZING CIGAR!

I had read some reviews on this fine cigar a year ago and decided that I wanted to try one. I was initially taken aback by the taste, aroma and flavor...but after half a stick I began to 'smile' as each puff and exhalation was VERY enjoyable. This fine stick burns evenly and I agree with another reviewer that you smoke it to the very end and enjoy ever delectable inch!

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Amazon by Randall Gowett of KS on July 18, 2007

Intensely satisfying!

I've smoked cigars for years but never tried the CAO line until I got a five-pack of Brazilia Lambada. It's a fine ending to a tough day after supper and coffee. It's aroma is like that rich cup of coffee; it's smoke is silky smooth; the draw and burn are near perfect. The flavor is full and leaves the taste of coffee and cocoa as its finish. If you're like me, you'll "bathe" in the aromas of the cigar. This fine creation is well-received by seasoned smokers! They'll be in one of my many humidors for years to come!

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Lambada by Greg of Hattiesburg, Mississippi on July 7, 2007

You will not be disappointed. It's that good!

The CAO Piranhas originally turned me off. But I decided this CAO line deserved another try. I'm so-o-o-o-o happy that I did. The GOL is one fantastic cigar! The flavor is amazing. Toasted nuts and a rich coffee bean, cocoa flavor, makes the aroma of this puppy a sought after enjoyment! The flavor is at times difficult to describe, yet oh so good. You will not be disappointed.

I love CAO cigars. The Gol is a complete cigar from all angles.Great taste, even burn and seems mild even though it's a full bodied stick.Highly recommended!

Great Taste, Sometimes Uneven Burn

Yes, the taste and draw on these cigars are great. The burn can be uneven, depending upon which one you pull out of the humidor. But that is a minuscule problem compared to the pleasure. I highly recommend them to the person looking for a rich and full-bodied smoke.

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Gol ! by Perry Callas of OR on March 5, 2007

This girl is tall and mighty.

What a punch this sweetheart packs! And this ring gauge is a jawbreaker, to boot. I started with Gol!, couldn't get enough and stepped up to Amazon. She's everything a maduro should be dark and mysterious. Sneaks up on you and knocks you flat. If you don't burn your fingers on this one you don't like cigars!

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Amazon by Halftrip of Los Angeles, CA on February 28, 2007

Outstanding medium to full flavored cigar

I have tried about a dozen miniature cigars and the Brazilia is by far the best I've tried. The cigar is full of flavor, burns consistent, and lasts close to 30 minutes. I think the Cariocas have a better flavor than the full size Brazilia.

A great Smoke comparable to any price range

This is a great cigar! I am glad I tried this one out, it has become my favorite smoke anytime of the day. It is not strong for a Maduro. I find it mild and a long smooth smoke. Enjoyable.

Big Flavor in A Little Cigar

I really enjoyed these little cigars! I have found my new favourite mini cigar for after dinner or those times when I'm in the mood for a powerhouse flavor cigar but don't have much time. It actually smoked longer then most cigars of this size. I actually spent close to 30 minutes smoking one, so the price per tin of 5 is pretty darn good. Probably not for new smokers or ones looking for a mild smoke.

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Cariocas Tin Of 5 by Eric D. of Maryland on October 8, 2006

Excellent

The Brazilia Gol! is proof that it is possible to find a great cigar for around $4 a smoke. I have a buddy who gives me $15-20 boutiques that he claims as "the best he has ever smoked." I smoke them and think, "what's the big deal?" I'll take a Brazilia anyday over this - and pocket the savings! The Gol is full but not overpowering. Lots of smoke which - I like, wondeful flavor from start to finish, excellent construction. You gotta try one! Peace

When G-d Gets It Right....G-d Gets It Right!!!!!!

This is a great cigar, but what I am about to write must be taken with the following caveats: 1) I did not smoke this cigars until after they sat in my humidor for six months, 2) The cigars I smoked were Ipanemas and I clipped them with a V-cut (this really does not matter except for those more detailed of readers). With that said, I can only recommend these cigars if like a wonderful smoke with delicious dry wood and light leathery overtones, if you like a cigar that has a tart and dry finish with a hint of chocolate that excites the palate, and if you want to burn your fingers because you are smoking it down to the nub. I love cigars that deliver a good volume of smoke on a light draw, and this cigar does that. It is a well constructed cigar whose dark and lucious wrapper is a delight to the eye and almost a sin to turn to ash. This sin, however, is rewarded with a wonderful smoking experience that should be tried by all. I sweet bourbon or wiskey greatly heightens the experience. I would recommend both after a hard day to put in perspective about what being on this planet is all about.

Fantastic Cigar For The Whole Family To Enjoy

Anyone who has tried CAO Brazilia line knows that they mean business...one of my favorites

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Ipanema by Hooj of Ohio on August 16, 2006

Very tight roll, uneven burn and HOT on the draw.

Thought this one was going to be a keeper. Not. CAO turned me off with this little cigar. Great choice for the name, this cigar bit like a piranha. You won't find these in my humidor again. They were are actually a bit too dry when they arrived.

This review was written about CAO Brazilia Piranha by Joseph T of Reading, MA on August 14, 2006

What a Thrill!!!

I must say, I was somewhat hesitant to smoke one of these at first. I approached the brightly colored CAO box, and felt that there just had to be some amount of gimmick associated with a less than conventional presentation. The green band is unique and attractive, and the dark wrapper is terrific. After buying my first single of this wonderfully crafted brand though, any doubt that I may have had before was washed completely away. In a simplistic one liner, this cigar is perfect. At first approach, one notices the thicker than normal robusto ring gauge. This puts something substantial between your teeth. The flavor of the wrapper is amazing, and don't even get me started on the amazing smoke. I noticed that these cigars definately are full bodied, but at the same time are so mellow and easy to process that one might be tricked into thinking that this cigar is a mild. After buying that first single and smoking, I promptly have purchased a box, and there isn't any way that I will be without a box of these in my humidor. It should be noticed that my most pleasant experience with this cigar occurred when I reached the last inch. I started to notice a scent that reminded me of clove or patouly oil. I thought that there must be something around me creating this wonderful boquet. I finally realized that this amazing aroma was wafting from my Brazilia. For anyone who hasn't tried one of these yet, please, do yourself a favor and purchase at least one, if not an entire box.

Intriguing cigar

Wow! A very nice treat in a cigar. I will take more of these! Great construction. To say that his cigar has a complex flavor is understating the experience- An absolute must try, this one will become one of your favorites! Regarding the draw - no complaints this is a number 10 smoke on a 1-10 scale. A must have for the humi!

Every day is Carnival with this smoke

I am pretty skeptical of products with snazzy wrappers and logos, however, this cigar left me with a perma-grin and chomping at the bit for more. I have smoked many premium cigars over the years, including top-notch Cubans in different parts of the world. The Brazilia got my attention, though. Well done, CAO! I ordered two boxes as soon as I was through smoking this gem.

You'll spoil yourself

This is without doubt one of the best cigars on the market. The entire array of sizes in the Brazilia line are fantastic. Every Brazilia I've smoked has had terrific draw, burn, ash, and construction. The flavor will knock your socks off. It is spicy, full, complex, but never harsh. This needs top be a staple in everyone's humidor.

Big cigar flavor in 20 minute smoke

Anyone who has trouble getting these to deliver a terrific volume of toasty coffee hinted smoke is keeping them too moist.

Good Personality

This one has a good personality. Some of the other high end smokes are just too perfect; but this one was willing to take some chances. It is a strong one. I smoked it all the way down and had a smile on my face after finishing it. It's worth a try if you can get it on sale.

Everything a Big, Bold Cigar should be!!! Superb

I've been smoking good cigars for about a year and have found the CAO line wonderful over all. When I couldn't find any more MX2's around, I started trying their other cigars. Every one of the full size cigars are great with wonderful aroma and flavor in the Brazilia line. The large ringsize just makes it that much better right down to where you'll want to smoke it, the NUB!

Rich and peppery, quite tasty. This stick has the oiliest wrapper I have ever seen, and it's build like a police baton. Not for the beginner.....

Oh Yeah!

A friend gave me one of these to try. He raves about it so had to see for myself. Everything about this cigar is first rate. Good burn with lots of long tight ashes, great construction, excellent eye appeal and outstanding taste. After I finished it, I called him and just said "Oh Yeah!" He knew what I was talking about.

Not CAO's Best

I recently purchased a tin of these. I gave up on smoking 3 of them because they were just wrapped too tight and had 0 draw. The other two were just too harsh in a small size. I liked the flavor and body in a larger ring cigar, but no good in the mini

Is there anything CAO can't do ?

I finally got the nerve to fire up the black beauty that came in a sampler w/ my CAO Criollo order. I'd been "Brazilia curious" for awhile, but the black wrapper and the full flavor description made me hesitant. Wow, what a surprise! Great burn, draw and ash, and a very rich flavor/aroma...yet not bitter or harsh. Criollos, Cameroons, eXtremes, now Brazilia: I may be stocking the humidor w/ nothing but CAO from now on!

My favorite cigar

Although I have found that the Maduro LaFloridita Toros or Belicoso is my favored everyday smoke, when ever I feel like splurging, these are the best cigar I have found in 40 years of cigar smoking. I am not skilled enough with words to describe them.

Good Cigar

I have smoked 2 of these as I keep hearing all the noise they are making but I really can't seem to fall head over heels in love with it like everyone else. However, towards the end I think the cigar really takes off in the flavor department. It's just the first half that seems kind of dull. Maybe it's my taste buds or the Guinness I was drinking with them. Like all the CAO cigars I have smoked the construction and burn was without flaw. CAO's consistency and quality never ceases to amaze me!

So far, the Best!

After recently having 2 heart attacks, the Dr's said that smoking cigs was a no-no. So I decided to give cigars a try. I went through alot of cash trying to find something suitable to my palate and pocket! the Brazilia line,so far, is the BEST to date, with the Ipanema being #1 on my hit parade! Can't wait to try others from this fine company!!

Love brand, Piranha is a great size!

Loved this CAO line since day 1 and always thought it would benefit from a smaller ringed smoke. The Piranha is great in satisfying this wish, as it develops superb flavor and depth with a smaller gauge. The time to finish is also surprising as you might think it is a shorter smoke. Definitely a Full-bodied/flavored smoke on my "A" list.

OUTSTANDING!!

This is of my favorite cigars. I always keep a box or two in my humidor. I like the great taste and found the burn always very good. I like to smoke these on special bays when I want a great cigar without a hefty price.

Absolutely Exquisite!

This cigar epitomizes the premium cigar. It lacks nothing but the unreasonable price. The draw, burn, ash, flavor, and construction of this beauty were absolutely perfect. This cigar has such a great and complex flavor but is so incredibly smooth at the same time. I let this one sit in my humidor for 3 weeks before I smoked it. I had read great things about it and I lit it expecting great things. It overdelivered. It has earn a rotation and valuable real estate in my humidor.
