Sorry, but these just don't do it for me. Draw made it impossible to get any smoke and the taste was just not worth the money or the effort. Not an enjoyable smoke by any means.

Yeah, the Rocky Patel signature does seem to come through, at least in the ones I have smoked. I'm on my second box now, and have to say I have enjoyed every one I've had. While I wouldn't rate them as "Full" bodied, as Famous does in the description, they're a good solid "medium", and stay pretty much single dimensional until the last 1/3, where some spice and slight coffee flavors kick in for the finish. I can't recall seeing a more consistently good looking stick, with a rich looking medium-dark wrapper. They light easily, and draw well in my experience. A pleasurable smoking experience that goes well after a good meal, or with a cup of good strong coffee in the morning. I can see myself ordering more of these, and I can give one to a friend with no worries about giving someone a 'dud'. They're not 'uber-premium' but neither is the price, which isn't really too bad compared to some others. I think Famous and Rocky have come up with a good all around smoke that I could enjoy for a long time, on a regular basis.

I'm relatively new to smoking cigars, so I offer my opinion with that caveat. This was a pretty good smoke for me. I tried this one a couple of nights ago. The draw was pretty easy and it provided plenty of good smoke. I found it to be pretty consistent throughout the hour plus it took me to smoke it. I would definitely recommend it and would smoke it again.

I tried to smoke one of these, but the construction made it impossible. It was rolled so tightly there was no way to get any smoke. I am sure it wasn't a plug because i have a rod i stuck all the way through the cigar several times. After about 10 minutes of fighting it, I finally got fed up, broke the cigar in half, and found another brand to smoke.People should get paid by the stick to smoke these because this cigar is nothing but work.

is it a decent smoke - yep. but, i guess i'm tired of hearing that everything new is a premium and has a price to match the hype. there are plenty of excellent bundle cigars that fulfill my tastes without making me say, why do i need to smoke a $4 cigar (or $3 for that matter). famous smokes needs to go back to its roots and sell good cigars for good prices and forget the bull crap. if they don't, customers will stop being loyal and go elsewhere.
