Damn well worth the price but would't pay more

The lonsdale is a really good looking cigar. Kind of bland but well constructed and nice draw I would't be afraid of giving one to any freind who smokes cigars

A very good smoke for the price!

I found these cigars to be on the milder side with a slightly sweet finish.Great with a glass of nice Cabernet. And one of the best looking labels to boot.

Great smoke for the price!

I ordered the maduro version since I like full-bodied smokes more, but was a bit skeptical since a lot of dark maduros tend to have draw issues. However, upon punching it, I was very pleased to find one of the easiest draws of any cigar I've ever smoked(and I've had plenty)! The construction and look of the cigar is great, and it has a pleasant medium-strength flavor. Towards the end, the full body of the smoke really became apparent, and it never got bitter or harsh like many middle-of-the-road cigars tend to do. In short, it's a great tasting cigar with one of the best draws I have come across yet. Definitely worth the money.

My favorite

Absolutely my favorite cigar. Perfect taste, draw, burn, construction. Very good smoke. The only ones that even come close are the La Floridita Limited and Conuco Robusto.

Ho Hum... Nothing special here

I got these sticks on auction and stuck them in my Humi for a week like i do most of the sticks i get. I am dissapointed that carinos are an average cigar. There simply isn't anything special about them that make them stand out amongst the crowd in a forrest of sticks to be smoked. The construction is good(although, when cutting the cap the wrap wanted to unwrap on the cut, no big deal just annoying), the burn was ok, even until i got about halfway down the stick. The Ash was a little soft, and dropped about 3/4- 1 in. down. the flavor was just ho-hum, but was consistently ho-hum through the entire stick. All in all, it was an average smoke... I didn't dislike carinos, it's just that with so many other quality smokes in the same $$ range, the carinos just isn't going to be my first... second... hell, not even my fifth choice as a go to stick..

Fear not, little one, I am here to protect thee.

Ok. I've had these in the box for a scant three weeks and they have already improved nicely. Smoked another one last night and enjoyed it quite much. In six months, these won't want to do anything but work sheep. So buy them, let them simmer a while, and they'll be fine.

Not so good

Straight out of the box, this is not a very good cigar. I was satisfied with the burn and draw, but the flavor was hot and bitter. To be fair, I like Plasencia made smokes, always have some on-hand, and they do tend to improve in the humi. So, I'm optimistic that these will also improve. I'll let 'em cook a while before I pan them flat-out.
