Exceptional Mild Cigar Value

Got this one "short robusto" in a sampler. What a pleasant surprise. Easily comparable with Macs, Montys, Griffins ,,, in fact, I find this cigar not only at least as good looking and as well constructed as it's pricier com padres (the ash held firmly to three of it's 4 1/2 inch length), it has more flavor too. If you're looking for a mild cigar with flavor, this is the one. An exceptional value! Good as-is, no doubt it would be better with a few months' aging.

Tastes like Helix 550

Mild creamy taste with notes of cedar and a little greeness. I smoked them right upon arrival. Good burn and adequate construction and draw.Tastes like Helix 550 and I would buy again.

Good for the price, maybe not for everyone.

Tried one of these in a sampler. I can understand why someone would say they were good everyday cigars, but I'm not sure they're for everyone. It starts out as a very mild, subtle Dominican smoke with much less flavor than it might seem. As the smoke went on, the flavor got more obvious and intense, very much what one would expect from a good Dominican. But, it's a very dense flavor through almost the whole cigar, more like the kind of intense flavor you get when you reach near the end of a typical cigar. So, that's either a good thing or bad thing depending on your tastes. Me, personally, I thought it was a little too strong, but by no means a terrible cigar.

Tastes just like a Dominican should.

I thought this was waay better than expected. I am a fan of Dominican Republic cigars and this one is fantastic! I would recommend stocking the humi with these now!

Not bad for the price...

I tried a Toro Maduro that came with one of the Famous Samplers. I burned it while cooking on the grill and enjoying a cup of coffee on my back patio. I believe mine was a bit dry, I would have been smart to age it for a few months, but I figured I'd go for it anyway. I noticed a tight, but smokable draw at first. I was only a bit annoyed. The burn was excellent and it stayed lit between me running in and out of the house for 5-10 minutes between puffs at times. The ash was white and held until I knocked it off. The flavor was definitely mild, but not bad. I think I would buy these for an occasional quick burn. Because of the price, I didn't mind throwing out the last 2 inches when I had to take the food inside. I'm going to keep a few handy for my non-smoking buddies to try, after some aging, of course.
