perfect Honduran taste, pleasant surprise

I did not have high expectations due to the excellent price. What awaited me was nothing short of an epiphany. The flavor, consistency, and burn were simply perfect. It had a medium body, with earthy and sweet flavors on the finish. I recommend this cigar to anyone who wants to know what a good Honduran cigar tastes like.

firecracker hot and spicey

I was excited to try this bundle version of the Honduran 2000. It burns excessively hot and this idea it has a good burn is wishful thinking, expect them to canoe from the word go. the wrapper stays on the cigar well, it has some stem issues to it too. The burn itself is firecracker hot, as in excessively hot. Its bland tasting thru the beginning and middle portion of the cigar but does finish with a spiceness. the finish is the best part of the cigar, expect it to burn very hot and flake to a degree which could burn clothes if not careful as i burned a hole in my shirt not paying close enuff attention to the flaking ash coming off the cigar.
This cigar does not begin to resmeble a sweet tasting tobacco, that is far fetched huge as well the burn is not remotely good, the craftsmanship is lousy on this cigar however the wrappers do stay on the cigar, that's the most positive thing i can think of besides its spicey finish. This is not close to a steal of a bargain, as disappointment is highly possible with how this cigar gets advertized, if your expecting it to be sweet and spicey with a good burn, your being mislead as its firecracker hot with burning issues all thru all 5 that ive tried from the bundle i received. Good luck if you select this particular cigar, your gonna need it.

inconsistent - dissapointed

Just gave a glowing review of these cigars based on a couple bundles I had bought. Then I went and bought two more bundles... it's practically a whole different cigar! These appear to have gone the way of the other Famous thousand series... at first they are good, then when people are baited, they switch with an inferior cigar. I can't believe these are all just "accidents". After buying quite a few bundles of Famous thousand series (in Dom, Hon & Nic) I see the same thing happening all accross the line... quality gone south. At this time these bundles are mediocre at best and aren't even worth the sale price. What once was a primo bundle, is now a second rate econo-smoke. Shame on you Famous for pulling this nonsense on good customers.

Darn good smoke

Tried the robusto & torpedo maduros. Definitely a fine smoke. Well made, nice flavor, consistent. A reasonable value at their regular price. An outstanding buy when they are on sale.

Great Value!

Ordered a bundle of these to try because of the price.
Good burn, great taste, overall a great value!
I would definitely order these again as a good every day smoke.

Decent Cigar

Picked up a bundle on auction, ashamed to say what I paid. Not a bad cigar. Burn was very even, two ash stick, easy draw, medium strength plesant aroma, flavor was one dimensional but overall a decent smoke. I would buy again "at a decent auction price".
