Famous Nicaraguan 2000 Cigars

Very nice mild smoke

I was very pleased with my first experience smoking this cigar. It was every bit worth the price. I thought it was better after leaving in humidor for a couple of days.

Terrible, Save your money

At one time I loved these cigars but something has changed. Out of the bundle 98% of them were packed so tight they would not draw. The few that did were harsh, and bitter. This brand has gone bad and it is a waste of money. I can not believe at one time I raved how good they were.

AMAZING

I got this in a sampler about 3 weeks ago and just got to it, and it is by far the best one I've had yet. Even burn, good draw and amazing flavor. I will definately be ordering more of these.

Nice

These cigars are well made, burn well with a nice speckled white ash. Sometimes they are bitter so I dont nub them but I still love them. This size fits me perfect too ! They will always have a spot in my humidor.

Good Cigar - Bad Wrapper

I had a fair amount of problems with these wrappers. For some of the Nic. 2000s, I had to throw them out because the wrapper came apart. The construction is fairly high end so sometimes they are salvageable even with wrapper problems. It's a good cigar despite the challenges.

hard to believe this is a conn wrapper

This almost misrolled cigar was cracked, bitter, and burned fast. I hope they will improve in my humidor. The wrapper is dark and the draw is good. All my other conn wrapper cigars are light in color, more natural. The roll is loose and uneven, but the burn was even. Not the best buy for the money.

suprise!

I keep telling myself that I shouldn't be suprised by the wonderful house brands from Famous. I bought these (moster deal 19.95) and let them sit a week before trying one. The wrapper is nice, no big veins and smooth. Cut the head and it looked tightly rolled, but upon lighting the draw was fine. That reminded me of a Monte, but this had more complexity at least till half way. The taste tapered then returned. I've read reviews of wrappers falling apart, and two coworkers have had the same problem with one's from sample packs. No problems here though... These are worth the price sale or no, definitely will buy again.

A great Mild Cigar

The cigar is amazing for a mild cigar, and you cannot beat the value. The flavor is mild, with a hint of spice. Even my wife like the aroma. A++ construction, and a good strong ash. I have found a great lawn mowing cigar. Great Job Famous.

Welcome surprise!

I like to experiment with new cigars. Saw these in an on-line offer that I couldn't refuse. Wasn't expecting much for a cheap stock brand cigar. Turned out they are well constructed as well as having a pleasant flavor. Mild and smooth. Will order again.

Good taste but falls apart

I've tried the Famous Domincans and Hondurans and been pleasantly suprised with their taste and quality but I struck out with this one. Even after giving them some humidor time they continue to fall apart on me.

An Inexpensive way to smoke a quality cigar!!

The Famous 2000 Nicaraguan is a very pleasant smoking expierience. Even my wife and daughter dont mind if I smoke them indoors. Now that is saying something. I will be ordering them again. Tom Santa Barbara 7-31-2006

Fantastic Value!!

I am on my 6th bundle of the Nicaraguan 2000 Churchill cigars. The wrappers on all of them have been perfect, I have had only 3 cigars out of 120 with a slightly tight draw. All others have been perect with a beautiful mild to medium flavor. This is without a doubt the best bundle cigar I have smoked and it would hold its own against many of the top tier brands. I usually smoke La Gloria Cubana and the Nicaraguan 2000 is very close to it, and certainly is number one in dollar value.

save your money

I bought 2 bundles of this junk. The wrappers are falling off. They were bug infested. Dis-colored. Absolute junk. My Labrador make better cigars and leaves them on the grass. This was a waste of money. I had sent some to some friends of mine and was embareassed. They went into the garbage. Sorry.

One of the BEST mild smokes out there @ any price!

I ordered a bundle of these when they were a one day sale for $19.95. I figured I would have them on hand to give to my Father-in-law (who likes milder smokes) or to friends who don't smoke regurlarly. After trying a couple, I was amazed at the overall quality! These are really wonderful mild smokes (perfect for the AM w/ a cup of coffee)! They are flawlessly constructed, burn perfectly, have lovely and tasty Connecticut shade wrappers, and will likely replace my usual Avo and Don Thomas for my 1st cigar of the day. I only wish I had bought more when they were at that price, but I'll definately buy them again, even at their regular retail. :-)-''''

A Real Surprise

Tried a bundle last week, didn't expect much from a $1.50 cigar (Toro, btw). I was very surprised to find the construction, draw, feel and taste were well above average. For all I knew I might have been smoking a Private Stock (my other favorite). The 2000-series has a nice smooth wrapper and good solid cap. The taste isn't bad, either, with a slight pepper flavor toward the end. The draw is good, indicating a cigar roller who knew what he was doing. All-in-all, a very pleasant surprise. I like them so much, I just ordered another bundle.

Very, Very Good Cigar - At Any Price

This is one of the best tasting cigars I have ever smoked. Good construction, very good burn, easy draw. The taste starts off good and keeps getting better. The kind of cigar you wish would get longer and not shorter as you smoke it, I just hate to put it down. It's a little spicy with hints of sweetness and a wounderful flavor.
