good

good buy and price

Nice, mild, modestly priced, machine made smoke.

Garcia y Vega produce pretty good smokes for a very modest price. Sometimes I get a soft one, but they still smoke fine.

Great look, nice taste.

I would rate these with some 3 times the price. They look great, taste nice and burn gently.

Better than most

This cigar tastes, draws and satisfies with cigars
costing much more. Definitely a great Dominican cigar.

The search stops here for a great cigar

As a lover of mild cigars I've sampled every brand from machine to hand rolled and from inexpensive to top dollar sticks. None have compared to the Garcia Vega English Corona. A champion! My search is over.

my favorite

this was the first corona that I ever smoked and overall i liked it better than anything that i've ever smoked

Great taste - Mild enuf to inhale -

I save the tube in case I don't have time to smoke the complete cigar. Put unsmoked portion of the cigar for later. Stays fresh. No Waste

pleasant taste, fragile construction

Mellow, enjoyable, inexpensive smoke ... but delicate! Maybe 1 cigar in 10 is broken and un-smokeable at purchase.

Best all day cigar I've ever smoked.

This is the best cigar for smoking several times a day that I have ever found. It is never harsh nor too strong, it is between mild and medium in body and flavor. I have tried many popular every-day cigars, but I keep coming back to this one. For 35 years the GV Miniature has been my mainstay.
Thank You, Garcia Y Vega!

Very bland taste, good construction. just okay.

Upon receiving the box (which arrived very quickly), I opened one of the tubes and examined a cigar. Very fresh, with the perfect spring in it when squeezed. A good smell. I'd never had a cigar with a claro wrapper before, and was kind of surprised when I saw that the cigars were green.
I smoked one of these with a buddy as it was pouring down rain outside (we were on the carport). It had a VERY mild flavor...mild about to the point of being bland. The construction is great, draw is perfect. They seem to burn a little on the fast side, but not too much so.
I think that these cigars are just not for my taste, although I still think they are decent for machine made cigars.
I don't think that I will order these again, but I won't totally take GyV off of my list.

Alright Cigar

This was my first cigar, and it wasn't bad. Its got a good taste, but the construction is pretty bad. It burns unevenly and 3/5 of the cigars I got in the pack either had soft spots on the body, or they were cracked. Overall its a good, cheap cigar for beginners or for someone who wants to enjoy a quick smoke.

Satisfaction unsurpassed by any other cigar.

I've had the pleasure of smoking G&V English Corona for @ least 25 years, & on occusion tried other brands & styles, but always come back to G&V English Corronas. A mild smoke, & if you havn't tried one I suggest you do. You'll be a believer as I am.

A great daily smoke

I love smoking the premium, hand made puros. But as I started smoking more cigars per day, naturally, it was getting a bit too expensive. I've tried most of the machine made smokes available at local drug stores, and most I wouldn't smoke again. The GyV however is a good tasting smoke at a great price. And although I originally thought the tubes were just a novelty on a machine made smoke, I've found it does in fact keep them fresher and safe (even shoved in your back pocket). If you need a good daily smoke, but are spoiled by the puros, this cigar is a great place to start looking.

Very good all around cigar

You will not find a better cigar at this price. Even draw and good taste. This has become my everyday smoke. I can't believe that anyone who tries it would be disappointed.

A good cheap cigar.

Been smoking Garcia y Vega faithfully for years now and the vanilla is my favorite. The vanilla taste is subtle but mellows out the bite. It also is the most consistent cheapie on the market. You can't go wrong with this smoke. Thanks FSS, good job.

cigar review

I smoked backwoods for years while fishing, but was continually disappointed by the burn and the grit. I've found the perfect fishing cigar here, great burn, no grit, and a better price to boot.

Among the best Claros available

Typical of good claros, these cigars have the clean taste of chaparrel after a rain and new mown hay. Wrapper is a little veiny and rough, but the roll is machine-done and consistent. Never had a tight draw or a loose roll. In terms flavor and consistency, this cigar compares well with any claros on the market. They are also a heckova deal.

Its alright

Garcia Y Vegas are decent cigars but more importantly they are cheap and carried almost everywhere. If for whatever reason you don't have the money for better cigars this is the only one a gas station has that are meant to be smoked as oposed to the cigars that are meant to be hollowed out and filled with weed

unappealing

if you dont know what a real cigar should taste like you may love it but after you smoke a real cigar like a cohiba or macanudo you will think otherwise.

A fine, mellow smoke and an excellent value

I keep coming back to Garcia y Vega claros. They are fine, mellow smoke and an excellent value. The panatelas are great when you don't have much time, the gran corona (lonsdale)when you do. The hole-in-the-head concentrates tars; I'd recommend cutting the end.

smooth and light

I'll admit that I am a rare one, a woman that enjoys smoking an occaisional cigar. The majority of cigars I tried were harsh, however these coronas are just the right shape and deliver a remarkable smooth, light, and mild flavor...excellent to enjoy with my husband and a glass of wine after dinner.

Dirt cHEAP machine mades for those inbetween hours

these are cigars to give to fag smokers (people that smoke cigarattes) when you smoke a real cigar.
They're really not that bad and from the USA they are 10% of UK prices.

Garcia Y Vega Barons Cigars.

The Garcia y Vega Barons Cigar is, in my opinion the Mercedes of cigars,it is well made, smooth, easy to enjoy and provocatively priced. To smoke the Rolls Royce of cigars one needs to look the part and who wants to look like Winston Churchill anyway. Garcia y Vega Barons...Like em... I love em.

try the maduro - you won't be disappointed

In my search for the ultimate cigar I always go back to these for excellent flavor at a very affordable price. the maduro is the only one I'd try in the glass tube. who cares what it looks like - the flavor rates a 9. the machine cut is the biggest draw back.

Fair little Cigar

For inexpensive little cigars they are sure packaged good. The box is outer-wrapped in celephane and the cigars are inside another sealed wrapper, then each cigar is in it's own wraper. They have a good appearance and are constructed good. They burn good, have a nice easy draw and are consistent. I find them a little short on flavor, but still not a bad smoke.

Tasteless

Their marketing is great, the tube is appealing, thats obviously what attracted me to this cheap cigar. The smoke is extremely mild and the wrapper is near flavorless. I prefer the taste of the Antonio y Cleopatra Grenadier Maduro and the singles go for under $2 at general stores. Still, more appealing than Phillies...

Great for the Golf course

Recieved shipment today. Good smoke, nice burn and even draw. For the price it's hard to beat. Taking these to the golf course.

Big Change

Used to smoke Bravuras, (apparently discontinued). Found Barons, what a difference. Larger ring (41) but shorter (4 3/4). Smooth unrestricted smoke. Talk about FRESH. I order the 5/5. The five boxs are sealed in a cellophane wrap. Inside, each box of five cigars is also sealed in cellophane. Inside each box, the five cigars are enclosed in a sealed pouch. Inside the pouch, each cigar is individually wrapped. How fresh do you want it?

bad taste

To me this cigar had a barely endurable taste, something similar to the White Owls I smoked when I was a kid.I don't know if it had been in the store too long or what, but I wouldn't recommend the one I had.

I Love It!!!

I use to order from Thompson in Florida. Prices went up, as did shipping. Tried Garcia Vegas from local supplier. Found Bravuras on your net. Right length and ring. For me, the ultimate. The BEST Re-Light cigar I'v ever had!!, and for a natural wrapper, it's so close to a Maduro, it's hard to tell the difference. Overall--10.

Good inexpensive cigar

Best cheap small cigar I have found so far. I want to try the maduro variety, didn't know they had a maduro wrapper available. Usually smoke Arturo Fuente Exsquitos, but these are a decent replacement and a lot cheaper.

I have smoked Gallantes 6 Superior Cigars in the yellow box for MANY years. Suddenly they have disappeared from the shelves of the discount tobacco store in Hazelwood, Missouri and thereabouts! What happened to these finest of cigars???

Very easy draw.Taste was very mild. Not a bad smoke

I have had several of these. Draw was very light. Some may not like that light of a draw. Lots of mild green smoke. For the money...Not a bad smoke!
I would recommend this one.
