Decent smoke for the price

The burn was a little inconsistent, but overall not a bad cigar.

Good Smoke

I picked this one up at a local store. At light up I though I made a mistake. It tasted horrible. Two puffs in and I loved it. It reminded me of Exile, although Exile is a little stronger. Because the cheap price I bought a box. I had no burn issues with the one I had, hope that does not change with the box.

This is a surprisingly good cigar

I got a handful at auction and I am happy to report that they're a pretty darn good cigar, especially for the money. Flavorful and mild, good aroma, nice construction and a pretty decent burn! I enjoyed the two which I have lit up so far. Only negative.. it's not a "nubber". Taste starts to sour out approaching the band. But.. that's okay, it will let my fingers heal a bit!

Pleasantly surprised

The name is misleading; these are smooth and flavorful smokes. Excellent burn, draw and ash. A perfect alternative to some of the ball busters I usually smoke. I didn't think I liked medium bodied cigars until I had one of these. They will always have a spot in my humidor.

Fire killed the desire

The word NASTY comes to mind. Bought cheap on auction, still paid too much. Terrible taste, poor burn. Don't dislike anyone enough to pass them on. Might use 'em to light the wood stove.

excellent cigar with unique flavor

I love these smokes and always try and keep some in the humidor. For a medium bodied smoke they have a ton of excellent flavor.

No thanks

I bought a box of these during a special sale, and I can see why they were on sale. They're really not all that good. The flavor is all right for the first inch or so, but then they just seem to take on a kind of harsh, ash flavor almost as if they've been relit. Out of a whole box, I only had one that stayed lit until the end. I wouldn't buy these again. Do yourself a favor and stick with the more pricey brands. You really do get what you pay for.

A pleasureable smoke, from beginning to end.

Searching for an inexpensive daily smoke I came across this one and am quite pleased. I was leary reading other's reviews regarding poor burn, but I have yet to experience that. An amazing taste and quality, and the price is Great! A must for your humidor.

On the heels of Camacho...

If you enjoy Camacho corojo or La Gloria Cubana Serie R, you'll fall in love with this well-built cigar... and your wallet will thank you. Very well done.

Nice Smoke For The Money

I tried this cigar and have been very pleased. Some minor uneven burning problems. This is a full body smoke, SPICE and pepper. Nice draw, built well and holds an ash. Probably not a good choice for the mild smokers. This cigar is well worth the money.

Good every day smoke

This stick is firmly constructed and eye pleasing. Smooth easy draw with mouth filling spicy smoke and good complexity. Burn is even, ash is somewhat tight with good hang time and variegated dark to light gray color. Aroma is pleasing. A good every day smoke. Buy a box or three. For the price you wont be disappointed.

Very good cigar with a low price tag!

Very good cigar with a smooth, easy draw that just filled your mouth with smoke. Slow, consistent burn with nice ash. I would recommend this cigar with a beer, brandy, or amaretto. What a bargain at $29.95 a box!

Excellent after dinner cigar

You can't beat these for the price. Spicy, bold flavor. These are quickly becoming my new "everyday" cigar.

Good Smoke

For the money, great smoke. I do agree that you need to keep your lighter at the ready. The box I have does tend to burn a little uneven. Now, this burn problem will not stop me from buying more. They are a good cigar.

What a tastey smoke

Based on the way these were described on the site, I took a shot and bought a box. Upon opening the box, I was treated to seeing some beautiful cigars. The wrappers are gorgeous. This cigar is well made, draws well, burns well, and smokes great. The flavor profile is of the layered and complex variety, with enough spice and body to be called medium plus. The thing that stood out most to me, this is one smooth cigar. I can't keep my hands off these things...truly a tastey delight!

Big and Flavorful and the Price is Tough to Beat

Thought I'd take a chance searching for a new full-bodied yet inexpensive smoke. These really fit the bill. While the burn is not great, (you might have to keep after this one with your torch), the taste is spicy and bold. Lots of flavor. Not for the uninitiated cigar smoker, but very good for those of us who prefer a nice big taste. Worth two bucks a stick? Definitely.
