HORRIBLE!!!!

These cigars are garbage. Anyone who says these are a good smoke or are worth the price vs quality are completely ignorant. DO NOT BUY THESE CIGARS, if you want a cheap quality cigar go with Mosaico. They are a steal for what you'll pay for them, an all around great smoke that you don't have to break the bank for or compromise quality for price.

Enjoyed this one.

I received one of these in a sampler and I must say that I really enjoyed this cigar. It was mellow and very aromatic. The scent was sweet even as it sat burning in the ashtray. The taste was exceptional and consistent. The cigar had at least one minor flaw. It was a bit soft and spongy, but still an all-around pleasant smoke.

The Worst Cigar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normally, I only write a review online to give praise to a note-worthy cigar! Today, I want to tell all afficionados to stay away from this brand! I have had two and the first one made me choke, gag, and cough the rest of the night, and I couldn't even finish the second one! my advice... is to take your money and add that to a better smoking, better tasting cigar!

A decent dollar cigar

I received this cigar as part of a sampler with my last order.
I noticed that the wrapper had a few discolorations when I first removed it from the wrapper. Other than that I thought it was a well constructed cigar.
For my taste buds it is a mild cigar. I read where folks had some problems with unraveling, the stick I am smoking has not done so. The cigar's taste was apparent upon lighting it. It set up quickly and did not change over time. The taste is simple..a hint of butter perhaps. If I had to judge the cigar not knowing the price I would say it was 'ok.' Taking the price into consideration I would say it is a very good value for the price.

Good cigar with morning coffee

Enjoy the Toro Natural with morning coffee. Good mild smoke, easy draw. Left them in humidor for a couple of weeks to stabilize before lighting up. Burned even and was a pleasure all the way down. Next I will try the maduros. For the price they can't be beat.

NICE MILD SMOKE

Won a 10 pack in auction, nice nutty favor, good draw and burn. Would consider buying a bundle when I finish these.

Okay....Maybe.. Probably better choices out there.

These are not as bad as some and not as good as others. Variable from stick to stick. Some draw, some don't, some stink and some don't. Don't smoke these in your car or anyplace else you don't want stunk up - the aroma does linger. Okay for a Golf Course Cigar or to give to people you don't like very much.

Dry, outer wrapper breaks and unravels, no good.

These were without a doubt, the worst cigars I've ever purchased. The cigars were shipped totally dehydrated. When hydrated, they burned inconsistently, the outer wrapper fell off, cracked, and the cigars swelled up! Terrible purchase.

EH SO-SO

The first cigar of the bundle..SO-SO. Nothing spectacular. Draw was fair. Aroma was OK. Chew was good. Burn...well that depended which half of the cigar was lit at the time (like there was a stick of wood in it slowing it down). After about 2/3rds of thw way down the burn began to even out but by then it waa almost time to snuff it. I left the remainders in the humidor to "age" for about 6 weeks. Tried another and had the same results. Only one of the 25 burned evenly from start to finish. Maybe it was just this bunch of Corona's but I don't thnk I want to test others of this brand to see. Maybe I shouldn't be too critical if a cigar that looks good, chews good, and costs less than a dollar a stick.

I would buy them again

I was reluctant to buy these when I initially ordered them, and more than a little skeptical....Boy, was I wrong! The first thing I noticed was the uniquely colored, earthy-smelling Connecticut wrapper. Interesting. Then I lit it up...a dense sweet earthiness greets the palate, and mellows into charcoal with a little spiciness. The wrappers were dry when they arrived...I would definitely herf them several days. 1 inch ash, and burns a little hot past the midway point, but what do you want at this price?! This is a great cigar for guys who are on a budget, value hounds, and even those looking to fill out their regular rotation. These pack lots of flavor, and their dirt cheap! Joker gives this deal the thumbs up!

Uh...No

Not good, in fact horrible. Glad I paid less than $2 for this one. Taste (like a farm animals waste), construction, burn and finish all were sub par. A friend warned me about this brand. Next time I'll listen.

They are an item!

First there was Adam Y Eve, then there was Romeo Y Juliet, today its Juan Y Ramon. nevertheless, what they have concockted is a woodsy / ash flavored smoke. Its not as bad as a roly or others that wreak of ammonia. In fact other than the lack of strong flavor and good appearence, its not bad. It does have ample kick to make it a worthwile smoke and probabaly will get you vip seats at the Adonis Club.

Underated

Much better than Roly and closer to Puros Indios. Nothing exotic... nothing bad...good smoke for the money that has no major hangups. It does need to be 80% humidity for 3 weeks before they can be smoked.

Glad they were cheap

I don't know if these cigars were just rolled recently or what the deal was, but they would not burn worth a lick. When it did burn it was not even and the draw was sub-par. I felt like I was sucking a watermelon through a straw. When I finally decided that it was not worth the time to try and smoke this cigar, I unraveled it to look at how it was put together. Not exactly the best construction but not too bad. The tobacco felt damp though. I threw what was left on the fire pit and that would not even ignite the tobacco. Perhaps these just need more time in the humidor, but if you are looking for a bundle ready to smoke, I would tell you to stay away. I will put these in the humidor and let them age a bit before I try and smoke another.

Juan y Ramon Churchill

Unfotunately I must say this is probably the worst cigar I have ever smoked. They taste of nothing but dirt, the wrappers and construction were of very poor quality.almost every one came unraveled and the bands were glued to the cigars making it literally impossible to remove them without pulling huge pieces of the wrapper off with them.i made the mistake of purchasing 2 bundles and you can rest assured this will never happen again.

What a joke

Everyone who has posted a review that says anything other than "Juan y Ramons suck" should have their cigar-reviewing priviledges revoked. Juan y Ramon are so bad on so many levels. First, the maduros aren't very maduro - they are about the same shade of brown as a normal Cameroon wrapper. I've smoked 5 of them - four of them had severe unravelling problems, which left them unsmokable, and I'm certain the fifth would have as well, but it was plugged and unsmokeable. They weren't mild - they were bland. They weren't nutty or spicy - they were harsh and tasted like a Marlboro with the filter torn off. Not even worth the measly $17 I paid - I honestly wouldn't take another bundle for free. Try the Tamayo y Pareto maduro - a bundle is $30 - $40, they're jet black, the construction and burn are very good (all 25 smoked just fine). Out of the wrapper they taste a little green, but a few wks in the humidor takes care of that.

Decent Smoke

This is a decent smoke. Cant beat the price. Construction, burn, ash and taste is worth the price. Kind of a nutty-cocoa flavor. Perfect size to go have a few beers and burn one.

Best of the Bundles

I sampled 5 bundled cigars looking for an inexpensive everyday cigar. Baitoa toro, La Floidita belicoso, Tesoro torpedo, Value Line 100 Corona Gorda were the other cigars I sampled. Whether it's the burn, draw, or taste Juan Y Ramon beats the others hands down. This cigar is consistent throughout the smoke with smooth nutty and a light wood flavors. This cigar will not only replace my everyday cigar it's a good smoke for special occations.

A good everyday cigar for the money

I wasn't expecting too much out of a bundle of cigars I got for less than a dollar a piece. (They were on sale for 19.95) I was more than pleasantly suprised when I lit one up. Smooth draw, even burn, cool smoke most of the way through. I was impressed by how there were hints of spicy flavors throughout the cigar. I very nice mid-morning, after lunch smoke. Mild, but not boring. It's not going to replace your favorites by any means, but it's more than you would expect from the price.

Plugged and tasteless

Bought a bundle of these when they were going for $17.95 couple of months ago. Even at that price I felt these stogies were not a good buy. Most of them were plugged, the wrappers often unravel halfway through smoking. Good to give to your friends who don't appreciate fine cigars though

The worst cigar smoking experience of my life.

bought a bundle of these little stinkers to take along to Myrtle beach last month. Because I was away from home I had to smoke them. But no lie, maybe four out of A bundle of twenty burned evenly. I was lucky enough to have A bundle of Honduran #59 along to pick up the slack. Lesson learned, dont believe every thing you read, and now I know why these little stinkers were on sale!

Rolled bit too tight, needs 2 weeks in humidor 1st

Ordered two bundles, (Suave Maduros). Smoked one upon delivery,a bit harsh and too tight a draw.
Sat in humidor for a few days and smoked a lot better. Do this, and it's a decent daily smoke.

Excellent burn, good ash, great taste!

Never had a Juan & Ramon before. I expected no consistancy and a bad burn but was surprised to find just the opposite! It also has a good, spicy/leathery taste, one that I very much like. I bought two bundles. Expect me to return for more.
