Great, smooth flavor throughout the whole cigar!

This is a great cigar! I would still be considered a newbie in the cigar world, but with being able to try a real Cuban Romeo y Julieta while on vacation...This is a good substitute!

Awful at any price

Good taste and smell, but draw was comparable to attempting to suck mashed potatoes through a straw

Not My Cup of Tea

I had one of these after a nice dinner on Sunday. I like the regular Mac's, though they are more of a morning smoke. I decided to give the Robust a try; the last time I smoked one of these was almost 10 years ago. It was certainly more robust than a standard Mac, but really didn't thrill me with any complexity. Half way through, I was only smoking it out of boredom; the flavor did not keep me wanting more. Not a bad or horrible smoke; just not something I would keep in my humidor.

EXCELLENT SMOKE, mild and ROBUST

Today I stopped by the local tobacco shop and decided to try out a good Cigar, Well I remember that Rush always spoke highly of Macanudos, so I picked up the Robust Portifino and I was not disapointed! A smoke like this deserves to be enjoyed outdoors in the cool of the shade in a swing with a cold drink. The Cigar did the rest and made my day!

Tough smoke

Got one in a sampler. Built pretty tight. Had to relight three times . Tightest draw I have experienced. Tasted OK but wasn't worth the
effort.

No good/ waste of money

This square cigar burns unevenly to a extent that is really upsetting . It has a very depressing Ash color and taste when you remember how much you paid for it and how many you have left over. It has butchered its name.

Always a great cigar.

Hyde Park is the Best cigar I have had the pleasure of smoking. It is always smooth to the very end . I find my self smoking it down to a small stub I can barely hang on to, because it is so good. I have recommeded it to my freinds and they all love it too. Great Smoke .Famous also has the best price of anyone..

What have you done?

Macanudo, what have you done to my favorite cigar? Since Macanudo Robust has been reintroduced the burn has gone down hill, consistency stinks, and I HATE the square press. Bring back the former smokes

A great cigar

I'm not a fan of regular Macanudos, but these are very good. Much more flavorful, although not as spicy or full-bodied as some. Excellent construction and taste.

Macanudo Robusto Prince Philip

I went through two boxes and found the taste great in both, but in one box the cigars were really pressed and hard to draw. Then in a few I experienced a bitter taste halfway through the smoke that ruined the cigar. When they are good they are really good, but there are problems with consistency: big time.

one word....Smooth

I got this in a sampler pack, when my humidor is empty, it will be refilled with these. I liked it with a nice brandy, both tasted creamy. they complimented each other well. Enjoy.

Exceptional Quality

I am so tired of looking for a consistent cigar in every way. FOUND IT. Other brands should take note. The MAC Robusto has great draw, ash and burn. The flavor is the same great taste from the first puff to the last. Make mine MAC.

The Robust Portofino is a real joy to smoke!

The Macanudo Robust Portofino is both smooth and strong enough to enjoy as a nice alternative to larger ring size smokes.
All my friends that I have given it to are very pleased with a great cigar at a modest price compared to similar brands in the same ring size and length range. The length of the smoke is very pleasing - it lasts for a very long and delightful smoke. The consisitency is very good also with very few smokes being a tight roll that is very common with other small ring size brands. .

A Macanudo Letdown

This tiny cigar, with a good name, becomes very expensive when you realize that only 1/3 of it can be smoked. Initial flavours are decent; but after the first 1/2 inch, it needs to be relit with every puff, unless you are a frantic puffer. The taste disappears, and disposing of the cigar becomes more appealing than keeping it lit.

Macanudo Robust Petite Corona

Great tasting cigar, but wrapper does not stay put. Tried about 6 of these from different cigar stores and each one had a problem with the wrapper. Price is right, and good flavor.

What a nice smoke!

Ultra smooth with a flavor and aroma great time after time. Savor it in small puffs and be sure not to drag on it too hard. You'll enjoy 20 to 30 minute of a real treat.

The worst thing about this cigar is having to finish it!! A great smoke...

A good and tasty smoke

This cigar provided an excellent draw and a nice white ash which it held very well. I like the slightly spicier taste provided by the Dominican blend. This stick smoked tasty and cool right down to the end.

A dream come true for me.

This cigar from the moment you take your first draw to the last one lets you know that you have a cigar in your hand and not some weak, trendy smoke. I find myself smoking my cigar down to my fingertips because of the exceptional taste and consistent draw.A fine cigar indeed!!

Well constructed, great smoke

I never liked Macanudo, but I love the Robust version. Comparable to Partagas 10 with more spiciness
