Honestly, it is awsome

This isn't a perfect cigar. The construction is a bit spotty (have had a few tear a little bit around the tip while lighting) but it's nothing that someone can't deal with. The draw is a bit tough at times but it's not as bad as some. The flavor does not fully satisfy the pallet but it is good and (more importantly) consistent. I enjoy the flavor but the best thing is the price. It's not a perfect cigar but it is better than anything it its price range and would probably out pace some of those "fancier" cigars. Actually, on second thought... it's terrible, don't buy it. We don't know how many more bundles Famous has.

Pecular aroma, tea leaves and pine straw

Pecular aroma described from various groups of Ladies that claim this cigar smells unusual and pecular as They make various unusual faces. Doesnt rate well aromatically with the Ladies.
Taste is unusual with notes of tea leaves, unique sour taste accompanies a decent draw that may experience a few plugs and hot spots towards the finish. Decent array of tea leave tasting smoke mixed with earth notes of pine straw. interesting cigar not the typical Mosaico cigar, pecular.

Excellent cigar

Won a bundle in a auction, am I ever so pleased. The first few that I smoked made me want to smoke more and more. A great everyday cigar for the price, taste, burn, ash, and aroma. All first class not sure which blend these were but overall very pleased with this purchase and I will be purchasing more of these for my humidor in the real near future.

Not very good

Smoked first of a bundle. Filler is pretty tasteless. I'll let the others age a day or so. Might improve.

Three month follow up

After over three months of ordering and smoking the Mosaico Ecuadorians in three different sizes, I still look forward to torching one up. The flavor just seems to get better all the time, and the burn and draw are consistently very good. They're a regular part of my rotation, and have become my daily "go to" smoke. I've paid a lot more for a lot less cigar, and will be ordering these as long as Famous keeps them in stock. I don't see how I could get more bang for my buck than these. Thanks, Famous, for introducing me to Mosaico Ecuadorians.

Tastes like a drugstore cigar

I didn't care for the flavor. It is a hard drawing cigar. It does have a nice burn and wil hold atleast an inch ash. However, I don't think I would buy them again.

Okay Value For The Money

First time purchasing these cigars. Took one out of the box and was disappointed. However, after 2.5 weeks in the humidor, the flavor seemed to improved. The only issue is that the bunch is not consistant in burn or flavor, some sticks better than others. I would purchase another bunch at a lower price to handout.

Another Famous Hit

Get a bundle... Let 'em sit at least three weeks in the cedar .. and then prepare for a treat. Just ordered my third bundle and will continue ordering this stick for an everyday smoke. After a while in the humidor, they mellow out really well, and become a real pleasure to smoke.

VERY TASTY

Well I liked this smoke quite a bit, although it leaned more towards a medium-full than a medium. None the less,I liked it.Clean burning with a good draw and great taste.Great cigar for the money. Will definetly buy again

Hard Draw

Even multiple swipes with my Havana Draw enhancer wouldn't cut the knots out of these sticks. Not a bad smoke if you can get one that will draw. Look to toss about 1 out of 4 as unsmokable - if they're cheap enough they're OK

SURPRISE-ingly good deal

Okay. So I discovered that my bundle seemed to be an even split between Helix and Don Tomas. Then this morning I lit one, and I thought, yummy! This must be another Don Tomas in its prime. But then, wait, I'm not sensing the flavor of blond leather, and the finish is a familiar butterscotch. Inhale again--there's a delicious bite of a stronger tobacco--wait I know this smoke!--crisp, clean, oniony going in, with a hint of hazelnut and a floral aroma--Rafael Gonzalez!! Okay, so it's not quite the premium smoke that it is in the Conn. wrapper--but a nice surprise all the same. I'm looking forward to the next, unexpected surprise.

Not great / not bad for $1 a stick

Got a bundle on auction. So far they have all tasted like Helix, which are too mild for my taste--but they are better in the more flavorful Conn. wrappers than these Ecuad. I was hoping for Hoyo de Monterrey or Punch, but none so far. I am sure these will be great after a month of aging in cedar. They taste like lightly buttered toast, with a rather tight draw--typical of sticks made by General Cigar.

Great draw and burn, but disappointing flavor

I picked up a bundle of these on auction as I'm always looking for a bargain cigar. After a few days after they arrived, I had to try one. The construction was nice, the draw was great, and the burn was near flawless! But the flavor!...ugh. The taste was funky and very bitter. I tried hard to tell myself it wasn't that bad, as the other charcteristics of the cigar were fantastic. But after smoking around six from the bundle, I'm sad to say the poor flavor is consistent. Perhaps several months in the humi will improve the taste. I may try a Mosaico with a different wrapper in hopes of getting some better flavor.

A really nice surprise

So I got the email with the offer for Mosaico on sale and a free messenger bag. I figured, what the heck, for $35 bucks they can't be all bad. I have had two so far. The first one the evening they arrived on my way home from running some errands. It was nice enough, but my palate was messed up from dinner and a previous cigar, so I couldn't really taste it much. This morning I had another, and it was just about the tastiest cigar I've ever had. I usually smoke RyJ's and RP's as my regulars, but this had a flavor that was simply exceptional. Rich and pleasant with a lot of different bits to keep it interesting. I hope I can find another in this assortment that is as nice as this one was.

Well Worth Full Price

I picked up 2 bundles of this gem at auction, accidentally bidding twice. I wish I doubled my error because these are a great smoke. I paid $18.95 and $19.00 but when I run through my stock I'll pay full price for these. Well constructed, perfect draw, perfect circle of a burn, flavorful from the start, the smoke gets better right down to the nub. I'm not sure I should rave about these, I'd like to snap up some more at bargain auction prices next time.
