Very Balanced and Smooth

Just got finished smoking one of these. What an enjoyable smoke. A medium body with a nice sweet finish to this excellent cigar. Very smooth and balanced. Nothing negative that I can say about this cigar, plus I just picked them up for an incredible price.

Well Made, Could Use More Flavor

I had one of these last night after eating a nice, hearty bowl of Texas style, venison chili. This was a very well made cigar and the burn was flawless. Also, having a nice silvery cigar band, this cigar offers visual stimulation as well; almost beautiful. It was a powerful cigar and had some nice effect, but the flavors were sort of a let down. They didn't come through like the build, look, or burn did. Not that the flavors were bad but just that nothing really stood out that much. I will most certainly obtain some different sizes and have a few more goes with this one. Maybe with a few months of aging, they will improve for the better.

Nice Little Cigars!

These are nice little cigars. I purchased a box primarily based on the excellent quality of the other Perdomo cigars. These are cute, perfectly formed little torpedos. While not as strong as some their larger cousins, they are full of flavor. With nice aroma, good ash and draw, they make a pleasant 20 minute smoke. Perfect for a cold winter day in Minnesota. I would definitely buy another box.

Great Cigar !

"I must continue to have great luck with any of the Perdomo Reserve lines. After countless cigars I still have a difficult time choosing a favorite."

Not a bad smoke!

A nice, full bodied smoke. Comes on a little strong at the start. Not my favorite flavors (coffee, earthy, leathery), but a good, solid smoke through and through. Excellent construction, nice burn - great ash, never harsh. Burned it down to the knuckles and it was still smoking nicely. You could do a lot worse for the price.

Great smoke!

Nice cigar, a little strong at the start but I thought it was well constructed. Even draw and a nice ash, I've recommended them to several friends. I'll be back to buy more.

My first Cameroon

Took a while to get used to it, definately a strong stick, smoke on a full stomach if you are not a daily smoker. Awesome burn, draw, smoke, ash...complex flavor throughout (couldn't quite nail it down). I paid $7.50 at my local smoke shop, so this is a good deal offered by Famous. I will be buying more of these. Going to try the H. Upmann next.

Overrated

Like much of Mr. Perdomo's wares this is overrated and overpriced. I also experienced the signature tight draw and flaky wrapper.
Who knows, maybe I've just had bad luck but man, I wish could get one of his cigars and just simply sit back and smoke it without having to do first aid every time.

wouldnt bother again, but as a give away they are

dissapointing and not as the are hyped.
these are a bulk buy that can be given away to fools whilst i smoke the better stuff, like a padron or macanudo.

Worth More

Has turned into a top five smoke for me (Davidoff Millennium, Don Lino Africa, AF Sun Grown and Floridita for value). 3 boxes and not a dud yet. Perfect balance of spice and smooth, excellent draw, and I never care what they look like, but this one's never looked ugly (until it got too short to smoke anymore). Even the label is really cool.

Great to taste...

Sometimes from one smoke to another, you are not sure what you are going to get.. Light 'em and throw 'em.. Not this Cigar! I have smoked a few boxes of these in the past 6 months, and have found the quality in taste to be through and through. My one gripe would have to be "flecking" on some of the wrappers, probably a few out of 20. Other than that, burn, draw and consistancy are right on. So in adding the great taste, this cigar should be rating a 9, any day.. Try a few, you'll be back for a box..

Tradicion Reseve Cameroon

Perdomo is the best tasting Cameroon I have had even more flavor than Fuente, and that's saying allot!

Mission Impossible

...cuz it self destructs after 5 seconds. And if this is a Cameroon, I don't know what A. Fuente,
Partagas, CAO, et al. are wrapping their cigars with. Wrapper was brittle and disintegrated
on touch. Ash was very inconsistent, lots of runs, flavor and aroma reminded me of a burning paper sack. Perdomo needn't "Reserve" anymore of these for me - after burning 3, I'm tossing the other 2 out.

Tasty But a Bit Pricey

This is a very flavorful, medium-bodied cigar. I have rarely been disappointed when I smoked one, especially the V figurados or X torpedos. Occasionally, the churchills burn a little unevenly at the start. I really enjoy these, but don't smoke them as much as I'd like, because they are a bit pricey. Still one of my favorites, along with it's milder cousin, the reserve champagne.

More Consistancy after the First Run!!

There is one thing I can say about Nick's cigars, and that is when they are good, they are Great!!, however after the first run of cigars arrive, quality and consistancy tends to appear, from inconsistant burning. Nick you make great stuff for other people, you may want to look into that!!

La Tradition Maduro "X" vs Rosado "X"

I have smoked many of the "X" Maduro's as well as the "X" Rosado, and found the Maduro to be generally better. Although the taste is fine, the quality of the Rosado is not consistent, as I have had many from the same box that seem to be plugged.

If looks could kill, this would be dead.

After a fantastic dinner i lit a beautiful rosado wrapped square cigar and 8 minutes later i was throwing the pieces accross my friends lawn. The 2nd one a week later held togeather but had a bad dry taste and very firm draw. There are not 3 men big enough to force me to smoke another of these !
