Well made mild cigar

The first one was a little harsh, but after 10 days in the humidor the rest were very nice. Well made with a nice ash.

Very nice, with no bad habits

I am four cigars into the box and so far they have been consistently good. Good burn, good draw, but most of all good flavor. I would not call this the best cigar I have ever smoked though. I would not be afraid to give them a try, and you will be quite comfortable sharing them with friends. Be sure to check the actual retail price before bidding them up too high on auction.

I keep coming back!

I've tried lots of cigars over the years, but keep coming back to the Santa Rosas. The torpedo is perhaps the best mild cigar I've tried. I just scored a box on the Famous auction site at a great price, and am looking forward to enjoying the best deal in the cigar business!

One of the Best Ever. Period.

I recently went to Honduras for a Medical Missionary trip, and when buying Cuban cigars, the shopkeep asked me to buy one of the local brands and see how good it was. I bought a Santa Rosa and smoked it right there...It was magical...I bought it for 25 lempiras which is about $1.70 US...and I just thought to myself right then and there that I had smoked the best cigar I ever tried, because now, a year later and many cigars later (even some Cuban)...the Santa Rosa was the best. Period. I ended up buying 5 boxes of 5 Churchills and passing them out to various friends, and I only kept one box. I kick myself now for being so generous!!!

Fine, Distinctive Smoke

I think this is an excellent cigar, with a flavour like no other -- but I would not call it mild! In fact, I thought it produced powerful pleasant puffing from start to finish.

Sweet and mild with lots of flavor

The toros maduro is the best cigsr I have smoked. It is full of flavor with a sticky, black wrapper. It leaves you with a sweet taste in your mouth and you feel satisfied that you have enjoyed a premium cigar.

Don't waste your time

This cigar blows. It won't stay lit, they tend to tunnel and they taste terrible. The "spicy" maduro wrapper is due to some black nasty coating on the cigar. It's not spicy, it's just sort of a burned flavor. They're asking almost a $100 per box for churchills? Do yourself a favor and pass on these. They ain't but a crappy bundle cigar in a box for folks that don't know any better. For a little less than what you'll pay for these, try La Gloria Cubana... now there's a cigar!

Don't know-couldn't draw on

I think I bought two boxes of these and after almost sucking my brain into my mouth on three different cigars, I gave them away. If anyone can
get smoke out of these, I'd like to know if they were any good.

Santa Rosa Corona: More bang for the buck

This cigar may be rated too high with its' 9+ ratings but they are not that far off. Taste is as good as Ashton, Montecristo, and Fuente cigars at a dramaticly lower price. Don't passup a chance to try one of these!!!

Draw, burn, and taste were disappointing.

The cigar appeared to be wrapped to tight. The burn was poor, frequently going out, and leaving a blackened ash. The taste was spicy, but also had a hint of burntness

Very enjoyable smoke !

I have been smoking the Sant Rosa torpedo for nearly a year now and haven't found another cigar that matches or or is better than it. I like the flavor, there is no bite....very enjoyable! It will continue to be my "kick-back" smoke until they improve on another one.

My favorite!

While I'm relatively new to cigar-smoking, I know what I like. This is without a doubt the best cigar I've smoked so far. It's a wonderfully mild smoke with a firm ash, even burn and excellent taste. No matter how many new cigars I try, I always go back to the Santa Rosa.
