Te Amo Cigars

The Spirit of the Tobacco

Not heady, yet stimulating. Not cerebral, yet clarifying. Not sophisticated, yet of character. Down to earth, unassuming; best left for quiet times and familiar company.

This review was written about Te Amo #4 by D.B. of Connecticut on October 15, 2008

Glad I didn't buy 25pcs. Not bad, not great...

I bought a 5 pack sampler. May have gotten a bad bunch. It's smokes, but I wouldn't give this cigar as a gift to anyone. Hard draw, and an average at best taste. Not bad, but I've smoked much better. At this price point you can do better. Just my opinion, I don't like being super critical with cigars. Even an average cigar can be enjoyable, this one was borderline...

Best cigar in my humidor

This is one of my favorites. I've enjoyed this cigar more than many pricier ones. If you like Maduro, go get some TeAmos and enjoy. Almost a perfect 10 cigar!

My Favorite

My favorite Cigar I smoke Daily!

FIRST HALF WONDERFUL SECOND HALF NOT SO GREAT

How can a cigar start out with a white firm ash, mild and tasty and than the second half with a grey(ish} ash that falls apart having a bundled cigar medium tast. Just the same, I'm willing to try them again. Stay tuned!

A Big Ol' Bag of Sagebrush Mulch

Cannot say enough bad things about this cigar. After smoking 1/2 dozen, I tried one year in humidor -- no help! the pre-light aroma is tumble weed and sagebrush. Features include: inconsistent burn, poor draw, harsh acrid taste, unpleasant finish, et cetera et cetera... ad nauseum!

Great cigar at a terrific price.

"Te amo" you are the underdog of cigars my hat's off to you.

Dirt! I'm smoking DIRT

I bought a box of these a while back, and just now getting around to writing my review. I have a few words to describe my experience. DRY and tasted like dirt. I picked these up on a recommendation from a local shop owner. EVERY singe cigar in the box was DRY. I mean like left in the car forgotten for a week DRY. I opened them up and put them in my humi and let the sit for a while hoping they would get better getting rehydrated. NOPE. All but 2 that I can remember from the entire box were awful. I would smoke my pipe instead. Totally tasted and smelled like dirt, and harsh. Will NOT buy these again.

Unique

The most unique tasting cigar on the planet. You have to try it . It's a must because you will love it or hate it . You have to know . They are cheap enough . Try them .

TE AMO #4

Just awesome! Suprisingly smooth and enjoyable, I sent a friend to Mexico to bring back more

This review was written about Te Amo #4 by Andrew Paul of Edmonton, AB on February 7, 2008

Even better with humi-time

I agree with everything written prior about these zesty cigars. Given more time in the humi and all those aspects are amplified. Earthy becomes a rich dark almost volcanic soil note. Hints of leather turns into well seasoned gun holster and the spicey backround rears up when accompanied by a good bourbon with sips of spring water. OUTSTANDING!

Te-Amo robusto

Guys I have been smoking cigars for over 35 years from all over the world. I thought I would give the Te-Amo's a try from all the good reviews I saw from others. This is the worst cigar from taste, to draw, and construction I have ever had. Problem is I bought a full box. Famous you fooled me on this brand, this cigar is not made from the second cuttings off the floor, rather from the droppings from barn-yard animals.

LOYALTY + CONSISTENCY FROM A CIGAR

It took a while before Ismoked my first Te-amo cigar but I was enrthralled with it.The taste is woody + earthy as well as consistent. out of the many brands I've tried, I always stock Te-amo as I know they are well constructed and taste great.

Wow! What a Shocker!

I had heard some good things about the Te Amo cigars but was a little reluctant to try them because of my perception of Mexican cigar inconsistency. After smoking a five pack sampler of these, all I can say is WOW! What a little jewel that won't put you in the poor house. Smoke was mild but flavorful, nice draw, and even burn. A tasty treat that has me reaching for my credit card to order a box of these babies!

An Everyday Gem

THIS IS THE BEST CIGAR TO COME OUT OF MEXICO;WITH BINDER,WRAPPER,TOBACCO ALL HAILING FROM THE SAN ANDRES VALLEY WHERE THE TOBACCO FLOURISHES. A FANTASTICK MILD TO MEDIUM SMOKE. THIS IS ONE BRAND THAT IS ALWAYS IN MY HUMIDOR.

Best value for the money!

Having not enjoyed a cigar for a long time, I was dissapointed by what I was able to get locally. I even went to "another" web site and ordered a sampler which left me totally disheartened. I found these Toros again, and they were everything I remembered they were. Absolutely great burn, flavor, color and body. Best value around, but don't tell everyone!

Te-Amo Toro

I got a tip on these but was reluctant to try them these because of my perceptions of Mexican Cigars. What a nice value at this price! It's a flavorful medium flavored cigar with a nice burn and terrific aroma. These will be perfect golf course take-alongs. I'll be back for more!

Different

Te-Amo is the best cigar from Mexico. The taste and aroma are wonderful.Earthy with a touch of spice, its always a great cigar to keep stocked in your humidor!!!

Beautiful and Sexy

I first tried these out of desparation, while in Cabo, MX WOW! what a surprise I had. The rich dark Maduro wrapper with it's spicy flavor, and then there is the taste, it is like none other. These Robusto cigars burn even, with a white silvery ash, the draw is ever so easy, "Quick, someone get me a pair of needle nose pliars, I don't want to waste even the smallest amount of this stick" YES it's that GOOD!!!

Suprising

I bought a single to try a mexican cuz it was cheap. I really enjoyed this cigar, decent taste, nice draw and even burn, very enjoyable, especially after the onyx belicoso #2 that I fought with last night. I smoke Cigars to relax and enjoy them, not to fight with to keep lit and burning evenly. The taste on the Te Amo is not by any means the best, but its just as good as some of the overpriced sticks that I've tried at 2-3 times the price.

Decent Mexican

Have smoked hundreds of these, along with the now defunct Toritos, which were often as not plugged. Think the Toro is the best of this brand, and if you like the Mexican flavor, a bit on the mild side though.

This review was written about Te Amo Toro by Gary R. Thomason of St. Louis, MO on April 10, 2004

Taste Just South Of The Border

Mexico still makes one of the best valued cigars when it comes to Te-Amo. Always keep a box or two or four in the humidor. Construction is always great, draw is fantastic and it has a nice finish. The grayish-white ash can flake a bit at times, but this is definetly a must try cigar.

Good Smoke

Nice Flavor, Draw, and Burn. Lasted a long time. Really enjoyed it. Curious to see what Robusto is like.

This review was written about Te Amo Presidente by Mike of California on June 1, 2003

Great taste but you could plotz sometimes drawing

Churchills (MAD and NAT) have great, rich, taste when you can draw on them. Very inconsistent. Burn usually uneven. I might buy them at $30/box. Don't waste your time with the TEAMO Segundos, they're unsomkable, even if you poke a 2 inch long hole at the tip. It's really too bad beacause the smoke is rich and enjoyable when you can draw on them without risking a hernia of the cheek or lip muscles.

This review was written about Te Amo Presidente by Ron the Fiddler of New Jersey on July 3, 2002

Inconsistant construction

A good blend, but with an inconsistant, and usually tough draw. The glue is also applied without apparent care and is very obvious on the Maduro wrapper. When done right the cigar is comparable to cigars twice its price

This review was written about Te Amo Gran Piramide by Norm Silverman of California on October 6, 2000

Full of peppery, sweet bliss. Consistantly Superb

Best Cigar outside of Cuba and Opusx. Regardless of price, and these babies are very inexpensive, by far the most consistant.

This review was written about Te Amo Toro by Don Williamson of Spfld. MA. on July 19, 2000

Love these little guys!

Love these little guys! They're a great maduro smoke. Full flavored, pleasant, consistent and an easy draw. Love them right down to the nub. Been smoking them for a few years, will be smoking them for at least a few more.

This review was written about Te Amo Robusto 10 by Joe Barta of Cleveland, OH USA on March 4, 2000

better than many of the higher priced cigars.

I`ve smoked them for 30 years. See others come and go, even trying changing ther band names. this cigar will be around long after I`m gone unless Mexico becomes comunist.

excellent taste/ some "

excellent tasting small cigar, however, about 2 or 3 are lost per box to bad draw due to being wrapped to tightly. the flavor is extrordinary, when the draw is good.
