WOW!! Great taste!

I am no way a seasoned pro at cigar tastes yet, but the Lonsdales were great. I have tried at least 20 some brands in its price range, and some $5.00 to $8.00 single sticks in the last year. This is the first box that I tried from the Tamboril line and I enjoyed every draw. For my price range it is one of my tops!

Fine Smoke

The other day I received a package of some cigars that I won at an auction. I got a box of 25 Tamboril torpedo cigars for $24, which is $0.96 a stick. Needless to say, I wanted to fire one up to see if I got a deal or not. These torpedo smokes measures 6 x 54 and originate from the Dominican Republic. These smokes have a good appearance and are well constructed. I had an even burn and at one point had a one inch ash. The draw was easy. The taste was mild with some spice flavor.
This smoke confirmed that you do not have to spend $5.00 and up to get a good smoke. There are several fine cigars selling for a buck. You just have to know where to look.

I'm gonna have to disagree

Sorry guys, but this cigar is bitter, lacking in flavor, higher maintenance than my wife, and just basically an all around piece of crap. The burn was extremely uneven, the aroma was generic, and the taste was cheap. The aroma was definitely tabacco, but that of a tobacco that had been grown in raw sewage. For a second I had to look twice to make sure I wasn't smoking a turd.

A nasty smoke

This brand hasn't changed since i last smoked them in 1998. They were nasty then & are no better tasting now, save your money! They were over priced at 29.95

Nice smoke, minor flaws

Pretty decent smoke, esp. for the price. Good ash, no runs, tight construction, yet a very smooth draw. Nice billowing smoke. One minor issue: the first stick I sparked developed some wrapper breaks; however, it didn't seem to effect either the draw or the burn. Good medium flavor and aroma. I'll definitely be adding these to my summertime campfire cigar rotation.

A fine cigar, can't beat this price.

Good looking, a little soft on the roll. Medium bodied, spicy.
The Sumatra wrapper adds to the unique flavor. Easy draw.
This lot is well-aged, and you can't beat the price!

Good Cigar

This cigar starts out very mellow and smooth. It gets a little stronger toward the middle and then mellows and finishes great. I would recommend these to any smoker.

a true smoke -- one of my very favorite cigars --

I have been smoking the Tamboril Diablos for almost two years now and have not been disapointed once. it is one of the nicers smokes I have enjoyed since the early 70's and for my money it is one of the very best buys today.

Just as soon have a King Edward

This is a hard-drawing, bitter tasting smoke that a friend gave me. At the free price, it was still too much.

Don't waste your money on this one.

Definitely not worth the "Buy one get one free" ad. It is also not for the feint of heart. The construction is okay if smoked soon after opening; however, don't take this cigar to the golf course or it liable to fall apart on you.

never tried?....try!

If you've never had a tamboril cigar, you best ry one before they're sold out for good. These fellas are solid in every way, but don't listen to me because I want the rest of them!

NIce. mild smoke, even burn, decent construction -

I think this is a decent cigar for the money. A little harsh near the end of the smoke. Burns nice, draws easy. Construction is consistent
