Smokers who want a full-bodied smoke at an affordable price will embrace these remarkably rich-tasting, BOX-PRESSED cigars. Extra-dark Connecticut broadleaf wrappers hand-selected for their rich, oily quality, are aged four years before rolling, while the Connecticut shade binder is cured to a maduro color, also aged four years, for a richer, sweeter, and smoother smoke. Much more robust than the regular Sancho Panza cigars, the 'Sancho Panza Double Maduro La Mancha' will remind you of those starry Havana nights!

This is an excellent cigar. I'm usually a bit wary of maduros because of the "pepper" and "anise" tastes that you often get, but I got one of these with a sampler and loved it. Bought a box of the La Mancha. Very slow burn - even this little corona lasted a good 45 minutes. Terrific flavors of cocoa and vanilla with a bit of sweetness on the finish. Very smooth and not at all overpowering. I can't think of a better way to spend two bucks.

Wow! I was caught completely off guard. I have smoked cigars long enough to know that you can't judge a good cigar by one stick alone. Every time I light up a Sancho Panza Double Maduro it is exactly as good as the first one I tried. I wasn't sure what to expect with a double maduro but the taste is not overpowering as one might expect. Mild, smooth to draw, and the taste stays on your pallet not in your throat like some harsh cigars we have all smoked at one time or another. This brand has rocketed into my top 5 list! I'll be back for more.

I've smoked most of a box of Quixotes - my brother got the balance. My favorites previously were Hemingways and Excallabur 1066 Merlins. This is just as good and has more flavor. Lots more flavor. Very smooth. This is the most cigar for the money I've found. In fact it's the best cigar for four time the money. Spicy without any harshness. I'm no expert, but I don't understand why it isn't rated higher.

Consistency may be a question, but flavor is great

I have tried the SP Double Maduros before and this one slightly below my previous experiences. I could tell it was tightly rolled just by rolling it in my fingers. Once lit this tight roll was also evident in the draw. Although it was not plugged, it took some work to get a decent mouthful of smoke. When this happened the flavor was very full with a peppery earthy tone to it. The flavor was good until just before the band, when the burn became very hot and harsh. I have really enjoyed the other sticks I have had from this line, and would chalk this one up to a bad roll. Will buy again.

After 2 boxes I simply cannot find anything but praise for the Sancho Panza La Mancha cigars. Pick whatever category you can think of and the score is perfect. If you like the taste of Padron maduros you'll undoubtedly love the La Mancha. The tastes aren't identical, but both have that delicious, even, "all the way home" zest. Get two boxes - these are absolutely Fine! You will be pleasantly amazed. An' Thass a Fac, Jac !

My first double Maduro was a bit of a dissapointment, but I think it was more me than the smoke. When I took the time to enjoy the next one, I found it to be less than full bodied, but flavorful. The burn and draw were both good.
While it is not my favorite maduro, I am glad I gave it a second chance.

Love this smoke, consistent burn, delicious! love every thing about this smoke, only thing is the end cap does not like to be chewed or lipped it will come off when it gets wet, other then that the appearence and draw added to its wonder tast, and price makes it an excelent choice for an any time smoke!

I tried a box of the La Manchas and found them to be the best Maduro cigar I've ever smoked. In a small ring-gauge they are quite satisfying, as much as an Onyx Reserve in a Robusto. No harshness whatsoever at any point, and plenty of delightful smoke. This is one to keep on hand, and offer to good friends when they visit.

I admit, I bought this on a whim, the price was good, it looked nice. Good size for me, good smell. Honestly, I'm picky about my maduros. I had a small construction problem when I cut the end of mine. It unraveled a bit (and yes I know how to properly cut a cigar)
The thing that got me was that it didn't continue to unravel..not even a little. Most cigars just start to fall apart if the wrapper has peeled off a bit. This one was fine until the last 1/3..then it started to come apart. I don't care however, because this is how I like my cigars to taste. The chocolate/cocoa, towards the middle I even got a hint of sweet black licorice (and I hate black licorice, but this was nice) Towards the end, I even detected a creamy/buttery flavor. That complimented the chocolate flavor VERY WELL. The draw was perfect for me. Overall this cigar stayed interesting...not boring at all. I love it, and I didn't expect much out of it from the start. It shocked me how good it was. Hope you have the same experience.
