""Maduro's"?"
Sure wish somebody would explain what an apostrophe 's' is to Michael. On the band it says 'paired maduro's'. "Maduro's" what? You'd think of all the people at Cusano who have seen this band someone would know how to speak English. Cigar is pretty good..it's covered with what is either bloom or metallic sand. Funky wrap though.

Cusano 18 Double Connecticut Gordo
"Truely Excellent"
I stumbled on this cigar today and decided to give it a try. It was well worth the $4+. I am going to give a few more a try and it may become my new go to everyday cigar. Burn, draw, appearance, and flavor were all excellent.

"Robusto 18 - Enjoyable puffer"
Not great but a nice smoke. Smooth burn, even draw w/nice flavors. Enjoyed every last bit of it. Would buy again.

"Unreal smoke!"
Chocolate, cinnamon, and hints of leather all give this 18 year old smoke this respect it deserves. A solid 10.

"Maduro improvement over Connecticut"
I previously reviewed the Cusano 18 Double Connecticut. I was not very impressed. The Paired Maduro, however, adds a Brazilian Mata Fina Maduro wrapper and Dominican Piloto leaf plus a '99 San Vicente Olor binder. This is a much improved and more sophisticated flavor than the Double Connecticut. The start was nice, with a healthy, almost snow-white ash. Burn, however, was uneven with improvement 1/4 of the way through. This cigar is worth the modest price. Having a several Padron-a-day habit probably affects my ability to be impartial, but I think I have been fair here.

"Interesting smoke"
I found the first few puffs a bit rough. Being used to the oily wrappers of Padron, the cigar seemed a bit dry. Fresh, but dry as in non-oily. Very creamy smoke. Basically one flavor, but it's good. Taste improves about 1/2 way through. I am going to age these in the humidor. I think it would do them a lot of good.
