Still Average Over Time
Ok, I won a five pack of the Picantes at an a... moreOk, I won a five pack of the Picantes at an auction. I tried one as soon as I got them. It was an average smoke with a bit of a peppry taste. I tried another two weeks later and there was still no change. I have tried my last three after three, six, and twelve months in my humidor. While they did mellow out a little over time, I did not notice a significant change. I'll stick to my Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixotes for my every day go to cigar.

Some good some not so much. I get about a 50/... moreSome good some not so much. I get about a 50/50 chance of getting a good smoke here.
Burn is generally good all the way to the band but the taste is inconsistant from smoke to smoke. At light up there is a bit of a bite to them but as the ash grows so does the enjoyment.
I had had several were the wrapper likes to flake away. Also had a couple that were way too tight and made for a difficult draw.
I do find that over all they are a good tasting smoke and get better the longer you let them sit. Very strong right out of the box.
