When I first started smoking cigars in the 70... moreWhen I first started smoking cigars in the 70's claros were very popular. Not sure why they (claro wrappers) fell out of favor. This is a nice mild smoke with a unique flavor because of the wrapper. Good aroma, and nice flavor. Get ready to answer lots of questions about why your cigar is green!

Soooooooo mild, it almost unbearable to smok... more Soooooooo mild, it almost unbearable to smoke. It didn't have much flavour, and it was a tad sweet. Overall, not bad, I'm not complaing, I got them for 7 bucks. I got a 5 pack and had one, but I'll hold the rest of them for non-smokers.

I got one of the natural robustos in a sample... moreI got one of the natural robustos in a sampler. Nice mild cigar with a decent taste. Then I saw the Madison in the "claro" (really a candella, isn't it?) wrapper and decided to try a 5 pack. I like 'em. Its a good Dominican with a difference. Good draw, good burn. I think the flavor of the candella wrapper is enhanced by the smaller ring gauge of the Madison. I'll be buying more to keep in the humidor. A nice change of pace, for sure.
